Bodega de Cantina rocks!

Open Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm to midnight at Cantina's downstairs lounge.

They offer a great selection of wines and imported beers and also a small selection of local cheese and charcuterie.

The downstairs lounge at Cantina is a cool, relaxing space and serves as a chilled out alternative to the bar upstairs. Check it out!

This is place is an awesome hidden gem... Please don't go telling everyone about it  ;)

This place blows... the most inhospitable staff ever. Came in for an office event and the staff acted as if we were a major inconvenience when it was really slow late in the afternoon, there were about 15 of us paying with a single company card too... shitty.

Had my second dinner at YamaSho tonight and it was just as awesome as the first time. I know they are pretty new which probably explains why they don't seem all that busy but I think once people catch on how great the food is, hopefully they'll start flocking. The price range definitely isn't cheap but I feel that the slightly higher price for sushi (prices are comparable to Ryoko- 100 bucks for 2 peeps is an easy feat!) definitely matches the quality.

Sashimi, rolls, sunomono, grilled seabass, fried soft shell crab... everything is so good and fresh. Very attentive service and just all around sweet people working there. They also did a really good job with the interior... I'm not much of karaoke person but the upper level with karaoke rooms seems like a good spot for a birthday party.

Feel kinda bad giving this place 1 star since everyone working here was actually really nice but my mani pedi I got here last week for my friends baby shower was super crappy... especially after being charged 77 bucks! I'm anxious to head over to Kitty's Nails tomorrow (1 week later) to fix this mess... for 28 bucks!

I don't mind spending that kind of money on spa services but for a mani pedi, that's pretty gouging... they barely touched my cuticles, it might as well have been just a polish change (which they tried charging my friend 64 dollars for a polish change, the guy at the counter asked the nail tech if it was indeed just a polish change).  

There were 6 of us total and 5 of us were splitting the cost of services for the celebrant, but all of us were charged at least 20 over their 55 bucks for mani pedis, so for her services, altogether we were charged over 100 bucks. Each of us also paid random prices for services which was weird because we all got the same thing. We were super low key and low maintenance, it bums me out the they totally just ripped us off... Don't know if it was intentional, perhaps poor math is to blame?

Also, the next day my friend was looking at her receipt and she realized they double charged her for services... she didn't notice at the time because she purchased a shit ton of jewelry but essentially paid 150 bucks for a shitty mani pedi on top of another 150 bucks in jewelry.

Needless to say, I won't be returning!

Love this place! I can't believe it's taken me 2 years to give them a good review but after getting totally ripped off last weekend at Pampered Girl, I feel like I need to give the Kitty's crew props!

I occasionally go elsewhere for a mani/pedi out of convenience and usually regret it! Great price (28 for a mani pedi-  40 bucks with tip), really sweet folks running the shop and very meticulous! Show owner comment »

Deep house music deep in the ghetto. I fucking love this place!

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Not only is the food great but the service is always outstanding. The place itself is spacious and open- makes you feel as if you're in Miami! Also, La Mar is great for groups as the portions are very generous. I also feel like I have to mention that every time I've had dinner here, we've had a hot waiter- great looking staff for sure :)

The various pisco cocktails are also lots of fun... don't forget to try the ceviche nikei, the causa limena, jalea and the saltado... yum, yum, yum.

Make reservations! Not really a 'walk-in' type of place...

Great happy hour daily from 3-6... and friendly bar staff. Kind of a tourist trap but once you've been there for happy hour, you'll realize you can't get a better deal anywhere else!

Decent Chinese food for a great price and really sweet people running the place. Ordered for delivery at my friend's house in the dog patch when most places were already closed. Gotta love that!
