I've only been to a few shows here and I've always enjoyed myself. It's a very small venue which makes the concerts you see there even more intimate. I'd go back!
My friend and I arrived to downtown Nashville on a Sunday morning craving mexican. Our first choice was closed on Sundays and so we ended up here. It's your standard american-mexican restaurant. I would've preferred our first choice, but alas, it sufficed.
I always drive past this restaurant on my way into E-town and finally stopped a few days ago. I don't typically eat a lot of italian food out since I think I can cook something just as good at home, and much cheaper.
We were seated pretty quick so I didn't scope the place out. The decor looked nice, our waiter was attentive, and the portions were HUGE! I got the chicken parmesan (around $9), and it was really good for the price. We also had breadsticks ($5 for 6 breadsticks -- and he gave us more after we ran out and wasn't charged) as an appetizer and they were nice and fluffy.

I typically like to go to this particular J Gumbos if I'm on this side of town. It's nicely decorated with NOLA themes.
Onto the food, the food is good and filling; I typically take home half of my meal. I usually get 2 entrees in 1, 1/2 drunken chicken and 1/2 voodoo chicken -- which offers a kick to your taste buds. I also love they have the calories clearly stated on the menu, which is always helpful when you're watching what you eat!

Anytime I go in just to browse, I'm usually surrounded by the staff, however, the one time I went in to buy a laptop (on a weekday morning no less), I practically had to wave someone down to help me.
After going to multiple locations in Louisville, I'll make a special trip to go to this location. I went in recently for bras and was treated very well by one of the sales associates. I'm so indecisive when it comes to buying clothes and she was very patient with me, and I left with 3 new bras!

This is my favorite location of this restaurant. The staff has always been very nice and super helpful. I always order a hummus appetizer to share with whoever I'm with; it's always so flavorful. The chicken and shrimp are always winners in my book.

I always find cute shoes in smaller sizes but rarely in my size (9.5-10), so it's usually a disappointing trip for me. However, I did find a nice pair of Born's for about $30 (regular price $90) that I still wear.
As my tastes have changed, I'll say it's a great place to go for a group if you're stuck in Bardstown, however, I'll go out of my way to go to better places in Louisville.

El Jimador is my favorite place to eat in Bardstown because of the large portions and they get you in really quickly even if they are swamped. I've went here with large groups before and placed many to-go orders with no problems. Keep up the good work!

The restaurant was nicely decorated and I was focused on a huge (and beautiful) lantern light the entire time I was there. If you've been there, you know what I'm talking about.
We had multiple people waiting on us but we weren't constantly interrupted by servers which was nice. My food and my date's food was delicious! Everything had a nice flavor and the portions were big enough to take food home with you. I need an excuse to go back!
