My wife and I have dined at Crave on several occasions. It's been an oasis at the madness of MoA; someplace where we can stop, take a break, and regain our senses. Unfortunately, during our last visit, the service was unacceptably poor. I will be a while, if ever, that we revisit.

This is one of our favorite places to stay when we need to drop off the grid for a weekend. The stone beach is pristine and the property is nestled between private land and a state park so it's always peaceful. The owners are extremely accommodating and we'll keep coming here for years to come.

If you every find yourself in Bemidji in the morning, hungry for breakfast, there's no better cure. My wife and I discovered Minnesota Nice while motorcycling the north-lands of Minnesota. Knowing that we would need a hearty breakfast to start a day of hard riding (360 miles to be exact), we asked several locals where the best place to get pancakes was. Minnesota Nice was unanimously recommended. These were some of the best hotcakes I've ever had (see photo), and they were appropriately Paul Bunyan themed.

A wonderful wine bar new addition to the great selection of establishments in lower town St. Paul. Run by Dave Jebens, a former banker who decided to pursue his passion for food. Dave started us off with a wonderful bottle of zin and followed it with several beautifully prepared small plate courses. As example, the first simply brilliant course was a small slice of watermelon accompanied by seared ahi tune and wasabi, which left an amazing lingering bouquet of the ocean air.
The environment was small, warm, and welcoming. The staff was incredible attentive even considering how busy it was. I highly recommend visiting this great new St. Paul restaurant.

CoCo Coworking and Collaborative Space

Self described as a coworking and collaborative space in Lowertown St. Paul, where knowledge workers can gather to share ideas, team up on projects and, on occasion, actually get some work done. CoCo has a wonderful space with private offices, conference rooms, and plenty of area to work alone or with groups of any size. This will be a great alternative to working from my home office or local coffee shop.
Exquisite service and food paired with a hard-to-beat rear view of the Bellagio's fountains made for a memorable pre-show dinner. Also, decadent foie gras--and yes, I feel dirty for liking that stuff.
It can be a challenge staying in a new resort property. Something as immense as the Aria has so many separate systems and processes which need to be in total harmony to provide that perfect experience.
The rooms, staff, general facility were exceptional.
The in-room control system, booking system, elevators, etc. still had launch glitches.
Overall, our stay at the Aria was enjoyable and the staff was extremely attentive. I would consider staying again. If you are looking for a modern resort experience I would recommend the Aria though give them another month or two work out the bugs if you expect that surreal Las Vegas style of perfection.
