I have been back now about four times within the last couple of months. I went in for cleaning by Dr. Samuel, and he told me I needed cleaning by the periodontist. He is the first dentist who took the time to take pictures of my gums so he could show me what was going on. I really don't understand why none of the American dentists took the time to keep me informed. The sad truth is that my gum disease has put my teeth into jeopardy, so went back and had gum surgery at two separate appointments.
Then Dr. Samuel scheduled me to return to have two of the crowns replaced that were causing some of the gum irritation. Unfortunately, I started having pain after the gum surgery because a tooth was getting looser. Dr. Samuel removed the crowns and applied temporaries to allow the affected gum to heal. My next visit will be to get permanent crowns.
Every time I go to the clinic I am treated so well, and the care I get is so gentle, I have been able to get over my phobia of having dental work done. I cannot say enough nice things about the care here.

Dr. Hiyashi, a very nice young dentist who cleaned my teeth, without the need for topical anesthesia did a great job. I explained that I can't have the electronic cleaning, because my teeth are so sensitive, and she was fine with that. And I told her I usually need topical anesthesia on my gums, and she suggested she try to clean first and then if that didn't work she could use the anesthsia. So we went ahead, and it was fine. First time in years I have been able to do that. I was so impressed.
She found some cavities this time, and I went to lunch and came back, and she filled them. Getting the anesthesia was uncomfortable, but the job was accomplished quickly and I am very happy.

My first visit was to check out the clinic, and consult with Dr. Guevera, who expertly answered all my questions and concerns. A week later I returned to have the root canal and was expertly taken care of by Dr. Marcia Bustamente. It was one of the least painful and best encounters I have had in a dentist office for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately I had put off getting my tooth fixed, so it was inflamed and she advised me to wait for a few weeks to let the inflammation die down before putting on the crown. Yeah. So glad I have found a dental office I feel comfortable in.

Since the first time we came here, it is now a must for my annual Sept visit to Denver. Had my favorite Chilaquiles with some extra green chili. I love the fact that every place makes it differently. Here is is made with toasted whole corn toritllas, layered with black beans and for me some vegan cheese sauce. It is topped off with a layer of scrambled tofu. Sis got a breakfast burrito, and it was yummy as well. Top that off with a soy latte and a dirty chai. What a great brunch.

Sis is always on the lookout for veg places where I have options, and she brought me here. Yum is all I can say: Chilliquilles with tofu. We got a coffee at the bar in the front room while we waited, and then were seated, and had a great meal. Although Sis is not a vegetarian, she also enjoyed her food. It is great seeing a place like this so full of people. I can hardly wait to go back.
