Mike is hands-down, the best dog walker in the Bay Area. Before finding Mike, we went through some pretty shady characters, and some reasonable people that just didn't click with us or our two pit bulls. When we found Mike, we always came home to happy dogs, and after a while noticed they were actually becoming more well-behaved. We would see Mike in the neighborhood and our dogs would get really excited.

He seriously puts a lot of effort into his job, and doesn't only walk the dogs and run off to the next job. He takes his time to make sure the dogs are getting socialized and learning basic (and sometimes advanced) commands.

A few years ago, we moved down to the peninsula, and seriously considered trying to find a way to convince Mike to come down and walk our dogs. It was 30 minutes away and totally unreasonable, but he's just that good.

I shopped around a bit before deciding on Artistic Stone for my granite counter purchase. They were considerably less expensive than the higher end granite warehouses and big-box retailers, but still within the price range of the smaller hole-in-the-wall shops down in Sunnyvale. I had a great experience with Mike Mok at the Mountain View location, but also visited the warehouse in San Leandro to pick out my slab - that was just as good an experience, and pretty fun. They run a tight operation with well educated staff. No one is pushy or overly sales-y. Frankly, I am surprised at how low their prices are given the high level of service.

The install went smooth, and my kitchen looks great.

Tip: If you buy the sink from them, they can cut the hole before they arrive, which means less dust and a quicker install.

My first time here. It was packed, so we had about a 15 minute wait. Tried the General's Chicken (not really chicken). It was probably some of the best vegetarian food I've ever had. I can't believe I've been driving by this place for 2 years and never stopped in. I already picked out what I'm trying on my next 4 visits. The one downer is that the location is pretty bad, crammed in a weird little strip mall with a Baskin Robbins, a vacuum store, and an acrylic nail place. Hopefully the pack up and move to Castro St. at some point.
