Mike came back and did much more for us; all with the same friendly and professional manner. He tells you exactly what he's going to do, and why. He is detail oriented, and cleans up after himself, too.
Nothing but praise from me: we have definitely saved some major bucks using his services. We saved about $1,300 on the first pass, and we saved about $800 using him to do the latest things. There's nothing bad about that, is there?
Mike, and I call him Big Mike; is the guy to call for most Handyman services. He tells you the real deal when he starts, and he doesn't cut corners. He also works at a reasonable rate, and shows up for you.
He is licensed and insured, in case you are wondering.
The thing I really like about him is he doesn't have one scrap of bullshit in him. He won't try to up sell you something you don't want or need, to make more money. This is a rare thing, these days.
He will work in Boston, too. Just saying.

Had lunch here with the folks. Excellent service, and the food was marvelous. They have vamped the menu up with some fancier flavorful items, and it all was excellent.
I had the French Onion Soup (just about perfection), and the Innkeeper's Salad (huge portions, lovely greens)
Mom had the Lobster Mac and Cheese, which she declared delectable.
Pop had the burger, which he said was very flavorful.
We shared an appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops, which was 6, so it could be a meal on it's own. This was great, though a little under done to my taste. My Mom thought they were perfect, and she certainly knows her scallops, so I will defer to her.
Another cool place to visit while out in Apple Country....
History seeps from the walls....
Yeah, the food menu could use a major goosing. I could come up with a fantastic menu of local recipes that would make this place a real find, but alas, they are stuck in the Prime Rib with soggy veg state of mind.
The menu brings out the Gordon Ramsey in me...
But the food isn't why I'd come out here. Wander around the site from perfect postcard scenes, to the fantastic old Inn..Bring a camera.
It's perfect in the Fall.
By the way, if you are planning to head out this way, check and see if they are going to have a Craft's Fair, Fife and Drum Event, or Historical Enactment...
They plan around Foliage watchers.

Listen to Auntie Kerri: EVERYTHING I have gotten here has been superlative. Amazing coffee beans, from all over the world, and roasted right there. Over the past year, I have been able to sample coffee from around the world, at really reasonable prices.
Honestly, the tantalizing scent of roasting beans is likely to knock you off your feet, when you walk in the door. I would particularly like to note their Wachusett Blend, as a great medium blend roast, that is particularly flavorful. It almost tastes like someone slipped some cocoa in it. Smooth, yet strong.
Listen to other posters. Stop in at Berberian's, right across the street. I buy all my veggie seedlings there. And, it's a great veggie stand, too. Watch your ass pulling out from Armeno's, as it's on a wicked corner. And, it is in a really cute location.
To sum up: Have you ever been on the Tazo Chocolate Tour? Okay, then equate that level of chocolate wonder to a great coffee experience, and then come in here.
I think that sums it up.

Hands Down, the best irrigation company around here. I mean it.
Don't listen to me, look on Angie's list. They have a stellar rating.
I've worked with these guys on installs, repairs, and maintenance on irrigation. Their prices are consistently lower on installs, and their main business is repairs and maintenance, which they are really good at.
Geoff is the owner, and I found out after working with him that he was friends with my sister in high school. Then, I found out I used to babysit his wife. It's a Small World, after all.
The holy triumverate is Geoff, Anthony, and Adam. Geoff is the owner, who meets you, and goes over the install and pricing. Anthony is the guy who is always in the office, to handle scheduling, and help you out when you call. Adam is the head of the install crew. They are all great guys to work with, and I've yet to encounter a hassle that they didn't smooth out.
Top notch, all the way. Are you sick of placing unanswered calls to your irrigation guy? Call them up, then.
Is your Landscape Contractor giving you a retarded quote on irrigation? Call them.
They consistently hit all 3 points of the Golden Triangle of Service: Pricing, Timing, and Service.
It doesn't get any better than this, Folks. Tell them Kerri sent you.

So, we had Joe over, and he put in a dedicated line for our impending Spa. He did the work cleanly, quickly, and for the insanely cheap price he quoted us. He was 1/3 the price of our highest quote.
But that isn't the important thing, kids. We had one guy telling us that we needed to upgrade our circuit board. We had another telling us that we had to upgrade the wiring to our water heater. Since the wiring of our house was totally new 8 years ago, we asked Joe his opinion. He showed us why our water heater wiring was fine. And when it came to upgrading our circuit board, he showed us how much power we are using, and how much was available, before we even had to consider upgrading.
We aren't even using 1/2 the power on our circuit board. I'm mad at the electrician that was hard selling the upgrade. Like, calling the BBB mad.
Joe, on the other hand, is a Prince.
"I am a Hobbit, actually."

He's over my place today, doing a bang up job, installing new railings on my stairs. Fantastic price quote, too! I have discovered there's not much Mike can't do.
So far: Installing new vanity in our bathroom.
Demoing our old kitchen
Installing new subfloor in said kitchen (he had to do some major work leveling it)
Installing straight studs, then sheet rock in the kitchen
Installing our new sink, and hooking up our dishwasher
Installing new railings on our stairs
Fixing a gaping hole in my parent's kitchen ceiling, and related plumbing disasters
I know I am forgetting something.... You get the picture; he's versatile! And, everything done with a happy positive attitude, and at a killer price.
When we had the stairs redone, we got some quotes for railings done. Mike's price is $300 less for a MUCH nicer finished product. You get the picture.
