i met a couple friends here for dinner one sunday evening...wasn't too crowded. the bar was crazy since their was a football game on, definitely liked that.
the food, delish. i had a philly chicken cheesesteak and it was really good! loved it...however, the service that night was a bit lackluster. i'm not sure how to exactly put it into words, all i know is that: its NEVER cute, no matter where you work, to let employees, servers, waitresses, waiters, etc, walk around with their underwear hanging out. its not appropriate nor is it appetizing when the food comes out!
i think i would've given 4 stars had we sat at another table and had a different waitress. Despite the underwear and lackluster service, the philly chicken cheesesteak did spark enough interest for me to go back and have more meals there...
maybe i'll do brunch next time...
The rum punch was delightfully refreshing and I can't wait to go back and have more drinks!
Next time i'm craving crab legs, i know exactly where i'm going!!
yesterday was a lovely November day, what does that mean?? margaritas outside @ El Azteca!! Now i must say, they have changed their menu! It looks so nice and professional, i was shocked! No longer the sticky menus that they had before.
i stuck with a mango margarita and no food this time...good times indeed.

i go here all the time! (well, this one and the Roswell Road location) and i'm not exactly sure why the reviews are so terrible.
i've learned how to manage it: you stick to one thing on the menu and just order lots and lots of margaritas. my friends and i always have a blast on the patio. we went this past sunday to end the bff's birthday celebration and it was lovely.
the service wasn't the best...however, the peach margarita made up for it. i always have a great time and haven't had a bad food experience . . .yet.
she takes our order (finally). she brings my friend and i water, coke and wine. great...however, i'm the only one who ordered a coke...she apologizes (well, sort of ) and said, "oh, i didn't hear you, thought you wanted one". i asked for a straw...never got one. had to wrangle some poor little server person to grab me one since our waitress was too busy to attend to my germaphobe needs...
food comes out, mine looks ok. my friend orders crabcakes and a cold plate. only problem, they only bring out his crabcakes. we didn't think anything of it...again, its busy. after 12minutes, we get worried. Flag little waitress down and say, "he didn't get his cold plate", her response, "oh i'm sorry, i didn't hear any of that" ugh!! my chicken foccacia was ok. chicken was a little dry AND there was some weird white sauce on it, and ANYONE who knows me already knows, Shawanda no likey white things on her food...long story.
all in all, i do like Apres Diem, i really do...i just think our girl should probably check into her health insurance and see if it'll provide her with a hearing aide. its much needed!

i know i love this place because i drive past soooooooo many liquor stores just to get to Tower.
everyone is so nice and helpful the prices are great and they have a lovely variety of EVERYTHING!
i heart Tower. i wish i could walk there. no other liquor store has ever spoken to me the way Tower has.
i love you.
The young man at the desk who assisted me with checking out was hospitable and polite as well.
My only complaints: when booking the appt, you need a credit card to hold it, fine, no problem. however, its imperative that when asking for a credit card, tell the client why you're asking for that information, i.e. secure the appt, cancellation policy, etc. No one explained anything to me, luckily, i already knew, but still...explain
last complaint, please change the sign outside! I mean really!! If it wasn't for Kathleen pre-warning everyone about the signage outside, I would've never known!
other than that, pleasant experience. :-)
i decided to stick with something simple (general tso chicken) after pondering if i should get the spicy basil chicken or general tso won...can't trust everyone's spicy basil chicken. my food was pretty average, however the speed in which it got here was AMAZING! I got a polite phone call letting me know that though i ordered a lemonade, they were all out...so i opted for a coke. delish nonetheless!
will def order from here again...
now, I give the Majestic 3 stars not because the food I had was "a-ok" but because just the people watching alone was enough entertainment for me! I had a simple egg & cheese sandwich...wasn't bad, wasn't good. i definitely could make it much better at home...however, its 4am and who cares...i already smell like cigarettes from El Bar why not continue the night with a dry egg & cheese sandwich.
anyway...fun times, well...interesting times. i'll probably be back, but probably not if i'm sober.

my BFF and I took a day off earlier this week and decided to have coffee & lunch at Emerald Coast. Not a bad decision.
The decor was really nice...definitely loved that. the staff was really nice. I decided to order a Turkey...??? something. so sorry...forgot the name of the sandwich. whatever it was, i liked. you're even offered chips & salsa or grapes with your food. cute.
will def be back for some delish coffee treats! mmm...caffeine makes me happy!!!!!!
Date

my only gripe was that my sandwich was not made in front of me. i don't know, something about it was weird. I've never been to a jersey Mikes where the sandwiches weren't made in front of the customer.
weird.
