Yum! I had the Korean Chicken BBQ taco and the sesame fries. Hot food, prompt friendly service and it was good. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Delicious! I had the oxtails and my bf had the curry chicken, both were very tasty. Food came out fast. Server was friendly and attentive. Good stuff, can't wait to go back.
This isn't the best Jamaican food I've had but it's pretty decent. Not cheap though, ox tails, curry chicken, rice and peas and a few plaintains came to 21.00+. FYI: Cash only.

Gosh I hadn't been in Dugans since I worked at CHE back in early 2000. They have definitely made some renovations since then. The music was a good mix of hip hop and R&B with some karaoke sets mixed in. Some were really good (chick sounded better than Mary J Blige, which some may argue ain't hard to do lol) and some wouldn't be allowed to even sing in church. The drinks were super strong, waitstaff okay. I will say if you are a single woman this might not be a prime spot since there were many men who seemed to enjoy the company of other men (hint). Also me and my other half had some good laughs watching a few groups of white people come through the back door and almost trampled one another to getaway out of the front door. Guess they hadn't heard Dugan's caters to an "urban" crowd (hate that word). It will never be my Cheers but was an okay time.

Nice boutique hotel. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. I was nervous due to some of the reviews complaining about the size of the room, but it was fine. On the small side but if you aren't spending a lot of time in the room (we were out most of the day, used the room for sleeping). The room had a nice modern decor and we had a nice view. Close to Mag Mile, banks, Starbucks and Sports Authority (in case you need ponchos or jackets due to unpredictable Chicago weather, hint;)
Not so positives: Did not like the bathroom sink, too shallow, bad design, was clogged.
Doors tend to close very loudly. This was very apparent with the jerk next door who kept going in between rooms early on morning.
Loved Chicago, would definitely stay here again.

Go here to sit out on a pretty day and watch the cars and people go by in L5P while getting your drink on. That is IF you can get a seat. Pass on the food. Unless you are smashed, you won't enjoy it.

Fell off the gluten free wagon on this day and had a bite or two or three of my boyfriend's traditional Cuban sandwich. It was YUMMY but it may have been so good because I have not had "real" bread in ages. Either way, thumbs up.

Went here with a huge group of friends for Valentine's Day. This place is very small. I can't say that I liked the set up or decor. Service was ok. Nothing stands out about the food except some really tasty mussels I had. They were delish. Nothing to write home about this place. It was ok.

The beau and I stumbled into Gekko one night, with serious sushi cravings. Gekko did not disappoint. Good, fresh sushi. Cool vibe/decor. Awesome/attentive service (thanks Orlando) and the sushi chefs were super cool and fun to chat with. Love this spot.
