IT IS A BOOKSTORE, NOT A LIBRARY!

*whew*

Anyway, I love coming here because there's free wifi and a decent amount of seating (that I'm willing to fight for). However, god help you if you actually want to buy a "virgin" magazine. They're always in poor condition because everyone has already read through it! I've seen books in better condition at the library, seriously.

Bought a whole chocolate cake for a party and was pretty disappointed. It cost more than King's Hawaiian and was very dry. They slathered on the frosting to cover it up so I wasn't able to tell until I decided to go easy on it. The absolute only reason they're getting 3 stars is because they were open when no one else was for a last minute save.

If I had a bajillion dollars, I'd probably blow all of it here.
There's a bunch of stores for everything you could possibly imaging, from sporting goods to homegoods and of course FASHION.

Honestly, you can have any kind of budget and find a good deal here.

As far as the experience goes, there is plenty of seating, food, and bathrooms to keep yourself golden. And the parking isn't as bad as LA, even during the holidays. Just sayin'.

This is the worst target in the area. I love target, but I'd rather go to the Harbor Costa Mesa or Tustin District target.

Why? Because there's more lighting in those stores. More importantly, the selection here is sub-par, and the checkout line is always a nightmare.

I came here recently and they finally did away with the pretense of having women's clothes. It is now 100 percent menswear and some boys clothing.

I have a mostly positive opinion about the brand, but some of the color schemes are not for the faint of heart or confidence. Seriously.

Also, don't be fooled into thinking that their items are only available full price. They have very generous sales. I saw a jacket that was $250 but then on sale for $150. On top of this, I've seen current items here AND TjMaxx. So it is really up to how much you're willing to spend and how hard you're willing to look to save money.

New Panda Chinese Fast Food

It looked ok when I walked in. I ordered the cream cheese wonton, and a two item combo. The combo had half fried rice and half chow mein, beef and broccoli, and orange chicken.

I didn't like the fat yellow noodles in the chow mein. Every item was covered in more than usual amounts of fatty fat oil. More than even Panda Express. I don't know how long the food was sitting out, but I felt sick to my stomach after eating here. The wontons were "fresh" but tasted like and had the consistency of styrofoam.

Avoid this place unless you have a stomach of steel.

I love that this is open 24 hours. It is better quality than Albertos and much more trustworthy since I can see the food being prepared in front of me.

If you get super lucky, there might be 6 different fresh squeezed jugos. Unfortunately this does not happen at night. Other than the drinks, which are delicious, there are a bunch of desserts. I've tried the tres leches cake (good, not too creamy) and the flan (normal, nothing special but hits the spot).

The food is delicious as well. Right now I am in a torta phase, so the last few times have been all about the carne asada torta. I've also gotten the make your own taco kit to take to a party and that was successful.

The only downside is that their tortillas don't stay fresh very long. Probably because they don't use preservatives. They're incredibly cheap though, so I can definitely imaging coming here on a daily basis for fresh tortillas (one dollar a pound).

Beware that parking is a huge pain sometimes, and if you have a long car you might be s.o.l.

Little Onion Mexican Restaurant

I'm not by any means an expert on Mexican food, but I am pretty picky about it. There were days when Del Taco was fine to satisfy but alas this is no longer the case.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend. It is tucked away in a small shopping center so it is easy to pass by. However, the decor inside is very themed, though not tastelessly so. I was seated immediately and given ample time to decide on my order: a small tamale plate with rice and beans.

Ever since I went to a tamale festival in Indio, I have been somewhat obsessed with tamales. Unfortunately my mom doesn't make tamales, so I usually only eat them for one of two reasons- someone's mom hooks me up with some, or senora tamale outside of Gallo Giro looks particularly trustworthy that day.

This tamale was stuffed with sauce and pork. It was moist and very filling. The beans and rice were decent, and the price was not unreasonable (6.99).

By the way, I am afraid of spice so the salsa was a little too much for me. However, the tamale plate was just fine.

If you ever have to call this place with a billing question, PRAY that you don't end up with Marcia, the absolute rudest customer service representative in the universe.

I had to call because Quest decided to put a $25 "authorization hold" on my CC for almost 2 months when I had my blood drawn. Even though my insurance covered everything and there was no copay.

Because I had the nerve to ask about it, Marcia decided to be as belligerent as possible.

Yeah, one star for "The Main Business Unit In Southern California."

Ok, if you're a noob like I was, you need to know that this restaurant is behind the 99 cent store in the back of the Mall of Fortune. You also need to know that it will probably be completely packed so be prepared to wait. Also, 20 minutes before they close they will stop writing names to the waitlist so come before that.

I tried 3 things but this is the kind of place that I assume has great food whatever you may order.
Nem Nuong IS DELICIOUS and oh so fresh! Surprisingly splitting 4 between two people is more than enough to feel full. I also tried Banh Xeo, which was pretty good but a little too oily for my taste. The flan was pretty good, i'd give it a 4/5 only because the sauce was too boozey.

Next time i'm going to try ordering to-go. It seems like taking the food home would be just as good as eating here.
