This is probably my favorite bar/cafè in Oslo. I have been here several times, in both Summer and Winter, and always found a friendly environment. Either if you're having a cold beer, or a hot tea, Café Sør is a great place to spend some time chatting with friends in central Oslo.

Very popular venue in the center of Rome, quite spacious and with tables outside too. There's a bar area, an area more dedicated to aperitifs, and one for the retaurant. Lunch buffet can be convenient. We went for a pizza, and while I can not say it was bad, I can certainly say it wasn't good. I doubt I'll eat pizza again in this place.

Right along the Via Portuense, a few meters from Porta Portese and very close to the area of the popular flea market, this restaurant has a scenic view on the Tiber river. Restaurant, Brasserie or Pizzeria, you can choose your style and enjoy the food. We had the Menu Pizza: appetizers, pizza, and dessert for just €12. Add a beer and the full dinner is just €15: not bad at all!

The typical backpackers bar in central Barcelona, a few steps from La Rambla, but also attended by locals. Very spacious and always crowded, I have been several times and always had good time. Free popcorns come with beers (and you can always go back to the bar and ask for more!); the home-made sangria is very good. There's a pool table and darts for those who want to play.
Between San Paolo and Garbatella areas, this small restaurant combines the familiar atmosphere with the quality of local food and affordable prices. With a €6 or €8 menu for lunch time, and a €17 (meat) or €21 (fish) menu for dinner, you will walk out full and satisfied. The menus include entries, pasta, a main course, and a home-made dessert, but I recommend to add the home-made limoncello which is simply delicious. Every once in a while there are also events, such as the "dark dinner" to enjoy with lights off while served by a group of blind waiters: something that has to be tried at least once!

Very good and affordable restaurant on the Barceloneta beach. We enjoyed some tapas and a main dish for a Saturday lunch in the sun, and it has been a very pleasant time. While the service has been generally fast, it took them quite some time to bring us the bill though. Food quality was good and prices affordable, and there was also free Wi-Fi.

Nice bar at the edge of the navigli area, and close to Porta Genova metro station. The bar itself is a regular bar, with a downstairs room showing sports on a big screen. I have been once to watch a soccer game and the bar was crowded. Still the atmosphere was positive, and drinks and food in the average.

A great pizzeria in Napoli! I have been here a few times with local friends, and always had a very good meal. Located on the way between Piazza Bellini and Via dei Tribunali, Vesi has some tables under umbrellas in the little square on top of Via dei Tribunali. Perfect location for a pizza in group, there's also a TV showing sports, so be sure to book a table if there's some important soccer game.

Blue Ice is the symbol of ice cream's industrialization! A group that opened venues all around the city, in most historical and touristic places, and in fact visited mostly by tourists unaware of the quality of their products. A good ice cream must be hand-made with real milk, fruit, and genuine ingredients; here it is made into a machine using industrial ingredients full of preservatives. From the window they do look good, but the taste is not even close to what an ice cream should be. Furthermore all those lights and colors don't fit at all with the historical locations that host them! When in Rome, look for the real ice creams, and not for this industrial stuff.
