I had a filet mignon with cajun seasoning here.  The 10oz filet is actually 2 5oz medallions, whereas the 14oz filet is a pure cut.  The steak was great, but nothing special.  Thumbs up for the mac & cheese side.  It was amazing, but you'll probably want to split it.

This place is way overpriced, but it's on the Strip so what else would you expect.  Also, it's extremely well lit for a steakhouse.  I'm used to dim-lighted fancy restaurants, but that's Vegas for ya!

After further thought, I demoted this to 3 stars.  I would probably never eat here again, mainly because it's overpriced and overhyped.  The food was good, but I'd rather go to the Bellagio and enjoy their excellent buffet.

My gf and I were in Westwood and craving Thai, so we found this place on Google maps.

At first it was a bit awkward since we were the only patrons in the restaurant.  It was 6:30 on a Sunday night.  However, a few more people trickled in during our meal.

Overall, the food was good.  Their red curry was pretty flavorful, but I wasn't too impressed by their Thai House Noodles.  I thought the noodles were pretty bland, but the beef and veggies helped.  Their thai iced tea was also a little bitter.

Service was friendly and I would eat here again if I lived/worked close by.  Seems like a good place for lunch or takeout for dinner.

One odd note:  Apparently they don't seem to fond of 10% tips.  The 10% tip suggestion was manually crossed out on the receipt, leaving only 15% and 20%.  I typically tip in the 15-20% range anyway, but I found this humorously strange... and they did this on 4 receipts! (50/50 split, merchant and customer).

It was a Sunday morning with near 100 degree heat.  Where else to go but to the beach!  

Driving out from the valley, we easily found street parking on Abbot Kinney around 11:30am and headed into Stroh's.  

I ordered the Early Riser (fried eggs, cheese, bacon sandwich on a croissant) with avocado.  It hit the spot, though next time I'd go I'd like to try a lunch item.  All of their sandwiches looked very delicious and healthy.

My gf and I walked to the beach (about 8 min away) and enjoyed our sandwiches there.  It was a great way to start what would become a very relaxing day... I would definitely love to repeat the experience!

My car had been making a high-pitch squeal sound a low speeds and was also in need of an oil change.  I was about to bring it in to the Toyota dealer when I heard of this place.

Ali (who runs the shop) was very helpful!  I explained to him the problems, and he had my car ready within a few hours.  No appointment needed!  He charged me very honest prices for parts and labor, and I drove away with a generally good feeling.

I know the Toyota dealership would have been much slower and probably more expensive with more bullshit.  Ali is exactly what I needed:  A fast, honest, and helpful mechanic who has your back!

As long as I'm in the area, I will continue doing business here.
