We sought Mr. Simon's legal services in early 2010 regarding an ongoing landlord/tenant that escalated to the Superior Court.  Mr. Simon helped us navigate through the complexities of an overwhelming process by clearly explaining the legal procedure and our rights.  He went above and beyond to not only advise us, but did his due diligence in researching other similar cases to ensure we were set up for success.  While in the courtroom, he maintained excellent composure while confronting the other party and remained clear and concise when addressing the judge.  Under his counsel, we were successful in winning 100% of our settlement and Mr. Simon's attorney's fees.  Mr. Simon maintained consistent and thorough follow-up and managed all communications with the other party to ensure we were able to collect our judgment.  I would recommend Mr. Simon's service to anyone who is need to legal advice or representation regarding any matter--from the most simple to complex of matters.  He is incredibly knowledgeable and he will work hard for your success!

We ate here opening night on May 8th, 2009 as we live directly across the street and have been watching the last few weeks as they transformed the space into a beautiful restaurant! To start off the meal they provided nice italian bread to dip in olive oil with minced olives. For an appetizer, we split crepes in truffle oil which was to die for! So good and so unique. I followed that up with pasta in pesto sauce which had vegetables mixed in, that  was also delicious. I'm excited to have a restaurant of this caliber in this neighborhood! Really nice staff too, they mentioned they will be opening for lunch and on weekends, including Sunday. I will be going back.

Great food and drinks! Yummy tapas which were all good and we tried 4-5 different things off their menu plus their happy hour mojitos were really good! Making the meal even better was the fun atmosphere and good service! Lots of parking in the neighborhood at least on the weekdays, which was nice. Will definitely be going back here!

Dinner was good, waitress extremely personable and offered some good suggestions. There was even live music which just added to the whole roadhouse casual ambiance. Food was tasty and I went back the following week for a Saturday brunch, and the food was ever better. Make sure to try the French toast. But it seemed as though there was not enough staff at that time, so things took a little longer then they should have.  But it didn't take away from the overall experience. Definitely will be back soon!

Sometimes I have a craving for quick/cheap indian food and I am glad to have found that place in my neighborhood. I had dinner here the other night. It was during the weekdays, so it was pretty quiet but there were 2 other groups and service was quick and extremely personable. The food came quickly, tasted great and there was lot of quantity for a decent price. I had the samosa for an appetizer and was surprised that it came with channa masala. The chicken tikka masala was tasty and naan was fresh. They even had free chai. Looking forward to going back soon when I get that craving again.

My favorite mexican restaurants in the area for a quick, cheap and satisfying meal. Never have left their disappointed. While you can do take out from their counter, they also offer a quick sit down service. Usually there is never a wait while the food comes quick and fresh. I love their nachos, tacos and burritos. You can also substitute in healthy options.

The Ultimate Pizza

The pizza shop has recently been renovated so it looks great and clean inside for a local pizza place. And while the pizza is good, there is nothing besides the really thin crusts that makes it stand out from most any other local pizza. It's a good for neighborhood pizza but there plenty of other choices on 1st avenue that are just as good.

My favorite breakfast place in the entire east bay, their omelets and poppy seed pancakes are so delicious. Whenever I am in San Francisco, I have to go here for breakfast on Sunday. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but both are fun. Sometimes on Sundays they will have a live accordion player. And you must try the Danville Spice Tea - iced or hot, with free refills. I prefer the iced but it's so refreshing with a really strong cinnamon flavor.

Mamoun's Falafel

I have been going to Mamoun's Falafel for over 15 years, and my parents ate here when they were still in college in the 70's. The fact that it's still opened and it's always busy - there is line no matter what time you go has to mean something. And they have a decent falafel sandwich, that's quick to grab and eat. But it's not my favorite falafel sandwich but  still very satisfying. Also, you usually won't find a place to sit down, but you can always walk to washington square park and and enjoy it outside.

I love hummus, I could eat it anytime and this is simply one of the best places for my hummus cravings. It's just simply great hummus at an affordable price. That is all they serve and it's really that good. I especially love their $2 hummus sandwich, it's a perfect quick lunch! But you must also try their mint lemonade, goes perfectly with the hummus.
