Let me begin by saying that I'm a sucker for a restaurant that is well designed. Although it is easy to pass by without noticing it (as I had almost every day for the past few months), the interior is quite striking and beautiful. The place is dimly lit (how romantic!) and features dark wood paneling with modern furniture. All of the drinks and courses we ordered focused on presentation, and the dishware was beautiful! Definitely an "experience."
As for the food, it was really good. There are definitely parallels between Land and Spice in terms of affordable Thai food. I ordered the Pad See Ew, which was very similar to the Black Bean noodle at Spice - SO YUMMY. My roommate ordered a curry, which she said was delish.
Definitely recommend going to Land on the UES for inspired dining!
