I like this strawberry stand the best because it is open the most consistently. I bought six green strawberry baskets full of strawberries and made a strawberry pie.

I love getting strawberries from here during the spring and early summer. Having been raised in Florin I grew up learning the history of the region as a strawberry capital of the world before the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II which ended the bulk of the strawberry industry. However, one can still find several strawberry fields outside of Watsonville and even in the region south of Sacramento such as the strawberry stand by the intersection of Grant Line Road and Bradshaw (although it's a bit west of the Bradshaw intersection).
At this stand you can buy strawberries picked that very same day which ensures the supreme sweetness of the strawberries. When I went to university and law school in the East Coast I was horrified by people putting sugar on strawberries . . . it was as if they were putting lemon juice on a lime slice. When you eat these strawberries you'll find out why one would not use sugar.
At this stand $10.00 will buy a flat, or six of those green strawberry baskets placed in a cardboard box, and the strawberries spilleth over the green baskets. I like to eat a green box or two of strawberries and make jam out of the rest since their prime doesn't extend much beyond two days.
Also, as the weather gets warmer the strawberries lose their prime sweetness and once the temperature reaches the 100s the strawberries kinda die off. And so then the season ends.

I love apple presses and fresh apple cider. My first experiences were in New England where I watched apples getting pressed and then enjoying the fruit of their labor processing the fruits. Likewise, Boa Vista had an apple press but I unfortunately did not get a chance to watch the apple press in action. Fortunately, I did grab a gallon of fresh apple cider as they were packing it into the cooling units. I'll enjoy making hot toddys with this drink. Perhaps I'll make toast to enjoy with apple butter as I drink my hot toddy.
I also ordered and immediately consumed their apple doughnuts. It was very delicious.

The pizza itself tasted alright. It was a bit thick and it wasn't too greasy. I hate it at New York joints where the grease trickles down the slice in an stream of orange. Fortunately this place made no such creek of grease.
My sins are great and I am unrepentant.

The store itself is spacious. I like how it faces the western most atrium of Downtown Plaza. I even like the premature Christmas decorations even though it screams desperation but the times are tough for the retailers so it's understandable.

The folks working here were all business, and I like it that way. I have this theory about all these ornery people who need to mention how they expected "good" service and how they're insulted when they didn't receive said service. I suspect they never actually had an orgasm during intercourse and so that's why they're so ornery and demanding. All that unvented energy is redirected towards demanding waitstaff to kowtow to them all the while they are oblivious to the needs of the waitstaff and the needs of the other customers. The waitstaff here are too righteous to supplicate themselves to the iniquity of annoying customers. And for that, I respect the waitstaff.
My family met up here for dinner because one of my brothers knows that our father likes to show off his native speaker skills. After a couple of pitchers of their margaritas the night became a blur. I wonder if it's healthy that my family and I tend to drink heavily when we're around each other.
