Aha, the oinkster.
With your sign covered up mysteriously so that the passer by only sees "slow fast food". With your delicious pastrami and Belgian fries......Oinkster, you are awesome. I bow down to the pulled pork sandwich, and although your meaty concoctions are a bit pricey, I appreciate the fact that I can enjoy all your pastrami goodness with a cold can of Boddington's. Oinkster, I love you.

The burgers are good, the perfect place to come in quick, sit at the bar and have a cheeseburger with grilled onions and slice of Lemon meringue. If you have a big party you'll probably have to wait a long time. They had all the 2009 NBA playoff games televised too....nice.

At first I was skeptical. Why would I want to eat ice cream that taste like flowers? I came in expecting to get one cone. Three cones later, I concluded that - YES, I would like to eat ice cream that taste like flowers....very much.

Dude, this place was crazy crowded...which was not surprising. The only thing is that it was on the 4th floor so be prepared to stand while waiting for your table. Not a problem for me. The dim sum was not bad a few bright spots. The thing that was good though were the sweet cream buns - oh damn they were good.

$1 Taco Tuesday's...I have never eaten anything else on the menu here. Seriously, I was impressed by dollar taco's, I mean of course they are not the best taco's you will stumble upon in Eagle Rock, but c'mon man...it's a dollar. Awesome.

Mamma's Brick Oven Pizza

I have trouble finding decent pizza in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. If anybody has suggestions feel free to let me know! Mamma's is pretty good pizza. I was pleasantly surprised by the thin crust NY style slices. The quality of the ingredients used is good and if you go in there get the Garlic Knots!

Fro yo....I swear I was done with you months ago. Just when your entire genre starts getting stale a new challenger steps in to keep the Fro-Yo crowd interested. Actually Red Mango is not new, but what the hell, new to me so whatever. I simply cannot resist walking by a frozen yogurt place that I have not tried and think - TASTE TEST. Unfortunately this leads to eating a ton of horrible frozen yogurt with day old melted kiwi slices.

Red Mango is definitely in the upper echelon of the Fro-Yo set....I'll say that. The green tea flavor was awesome and not too sweet. If you are a Fro-Yo head you probably already tried it, if not I'd recommend Red Mango for a Fro-Yo first impression.

The pizza here is good, I especially thought the sauce was flavorful and unique. I wouldn't put this in the upper echelon of pizzadome, but for a mid tier place whose ingredients are probably standard, I would recommend it.
