There's not much to dislike about this place unless you aren't a fan of brew and que!

I followed my natural style and tried the more exotic items on the menu.

The agave beer was cold and crisp.  The pork-pulled quesadilla was divine both with the standard fixings as well as with the house BBQ sauce.  The tender meat and savory juices made it a five-star entree even though it's on the appetizer menu.  And the RYE-eous grilled cheese sandwich was one of the most delicious grilled cheese sandwiches that I've ever had in my entire life.  It had avocado slices, tomatoes and it was topped with great taste!

The ambiance was pretty standard for a bar/restaurant.  However, it was very clean and cool inside making it a great refuge from the outside heat.  The clear air inside was also a plus for a non-smoker.  For an early lunch, it wasn't crowded at all and the food came out quickly which was great!

Parking was a cinch considering Uncle Billy's unique relationship for parking validation in the underground parking garage in the "smart growth" styled residential complex behind the locale.

The service was great!  The bartender was on point and kept constant contact with the patrons at his bar.  He didn't pester you too much nor did he keep you waiting.

It's definitive, I'll eat here again very soon!

They have lots of amazing Italian gelato flavors from the classic to the exotic.  Jalopeño what?!?

Definitely worth a visit to taste the flavors of true Italian gelato.

A great atmosphere with a large interior space, however, it's a bit dark on the inside for guests with sight issues.

Whatever you do, don't eat the hot peppers whole!  You will need a special sauce to quell the fire inside your mouth, and really your soul.  It takes about 30 minutes for the fire breathing effects to wear off if you choose to do so.

The Chengdu lamb is one of the best options on the menu.  I highly recommend it for those who wish to explore a bit of China while staying inside the restaurant.

About the largest, cleanest, and nicely-decorated Subway establishment that I've ever been to in all of the USA!

A beautiful apartment complex surrounded by a 40-acre greenspace complete with hike and bike trails and a whole lot of nature.  For the nature lover or active person, this is a great place to live that seems secluded from the city, almost rural-like, yet is a hop, skip, and a jump away from the hustle and bustle of San Marcos including the bus system for the university.  The amenities and floor plans add to the great location and make for a decent college living experience.  Oh yeah, the pool is a great place to hang in the summer and the work out room is pretty nice if you don't feel up to making the trip to the Rec Center.  And if you spend any time in the main office, it's always as rustically pleasant as can be, as are the grounds which are kept in good shape.  The only negatives might be that the ownership has changed hands a few times over the years and so too has the management.  Other than that, not much has disrupted the semi-quiet living at Dakota.
