Just when I think I've conquered Korean food... I learn something new.  Woot!

Geo Si Gi is a Korean restaurant located in the Murray Hill in Queens.  Heart of all things Korean and delicious Korean food.

When you go to Geo Si Gi - ask for the English menu if you're not Korean or don't speak Korean.

We ordered the "Uh Geo Gi Gamja Tang", which is the Dried Cabbage with Vegetables and Pork Loin Casserole.  YUM!  I don't think I've ever seen Pork in a Korean soup before... but there's a first time for everything.

Rijksmuseum.  Dutch National Museum.  Amsterdam.

Cool Things to Note:
1) Miniature porcelain shoes
2) Porcelain violins
3) Andy Warhol's work
4) Still Life with Tulips, Anemones, Roses, and Carnations (which don't all bloom at the same time)... but the work looked natural.  BEAUTIFUL.

A Whole Museum dedicated to Van Gogh.  Woah!  It was a great experience to see all of his work... as well as others that he inspired.  I was hoping to see Starry Night... but apparently that is NYC at the MoMA.  *Makes mental note to go visit MoMA*

When in Amsterdam, you MUST GO see Anne Frank Huis.

Tips:
1) Went during a weekday - no lines (went in March 2012)
2) Should probably to physically fit... those stairs are called "leg-breaker stairs"

Cool Stuff:
1) See the actual hiding place
2) Actual pages of Anne Frank's Diary
3) Video clips of their life

Definitely a humbling experience.  Makes you appreciate the things that you have.

Dutch Pancakes!

The Pancake Bakery is known as "The Best Pancakes in Town!".  I personally think that they were okay... not necessarily the "BEST" pancakes in town.

Assaggi is a pretty good Italian place to go to for dinner.  I must say though, this restaurant is in the middle of nowhere.  Pastas are pretty good.  They were accommodating to large groups without reservations.

Restaurant de Bolhoed is a Vegan restaurant near the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.  I was planning to go to another restaurant in the neighborhood... but they were only open for dinner.  My TRUSTY Yelp app directed me towards Restaurant de Bolhoed.  

I was quite surprised as to how good the food was.  Delish!
