We (the husband and myself) are from NY and love our wings...good wings, bad wings just anger us and these were bad wings.  If your giant sign outside your bar/ restaurant says "WINGS" they should be really good. I just do not get it.  I would like to tell the owner to buy a plane ticket to Buffalo go to the Anchor Bar.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars.  I love the fact that Vero has someplace that is a little more city vibe.  The drinks are good but the wine list is great.  I have eaten just about everythng on the menu and have only had one thing that was not great, short ribs.  The decor is great, the bar gets crowded but that is ok with me.  When my family comes into town they stay here and have always had a great stay.   Well worth the stay or dinner.

Honestly this place is tacky and for tourists , the locals do not eat here.  When I travel I always ask the locals where they eat.  After living on the beach in Vero for a long time try THE TIDES.  If you are a foodie you will love it.

    A tourist trap with over cooked seafood and plaid polyester pants as far as the eye can see....  No self respecting seafood lover would be step foot inside.  This is not local seafood if that is what you are after.  When I go on vacation I want the local seafood that just has been taken off the boat and I personally want to eat where the locals eat.  Try Carmels for good food.  For an Ocean view grab a smoothie from Cravings and sit at the park.  For off the boat local fish and fresh dirty oysters try the Tiki on city marina in Fort Pierce.  For a cocktail with a view try Captain Hirams in Sebastian and enjoy the river view but skip the food too.  Hope it helps.

This is my Favorite Place , small and intimate and it is simply great quality cooking.  I have never had bad service here either.  For anyone who is a tourist here THIS IS THE PLACE TO EAT!  I have not reviewed it here b/c honestly I am not sure I want the tourist even knowing about it but after so many rave reviews about the nasty tacky Ocean Grill I thought I would admit to the tourist where the locals go.

Mo Bay Grill

Mo Bay is a great little place, it does not do a ton of advertising and does not have to b/c it has a word of mouth appeal.  It is owned by Jamaican chef Wesley Campbell and his menu is Jamaican comfort food @ it's best.  The breakfast has non - funky favorites too, the corn beef hash is something to write home about , the mango smoothie, I cannot pass up.   For lunch the fried chicken with herb is just fabulous... I could go on and on.  The Banana rum cheesecake is a must, it haunts my hungry moments.  Hope you all like it as much as we do :)

PS!-   OH MY!  The Irish Girl almost forgot the beer.  They have Red Stripe!

Ted Drewes is comfort food at its finest, if it does not make you smile or happy then you are no friend of mine.  I thought I would chime in b/c not one soul mentioned the hot fudge, the best ever!  I will leave you with one last tidbit, If you are complaining about the lines at a place like this you are a certified whiner :0

I stopped reading others reviews when I read the complaint that the wings "were not breaded"...Umm, Buffalo wings are not breaded sparky.

The hotter the sauce here the better and you will "get it ",  the man is a chemist.
