Since that first morning in Giant Burger, I've eaten many meals here. It does help that GB is located two blocks from my house, but in tiny Firebaugh, that's not saying much. I do enjoy their fried chicken sandwich, and my wife, the lovely Mrs. Shoehead always eats their signature "Giant Burger" being a small mom & pop joint, we've gotten friendly with the counter girls there, and they always give us nice friendly service.
Giant Burger is really no different than hundreds (thousands?) of burger joints in small towns everywhere. Some are awesome, and some really suck... I'll have to put Firebaugh's Giant Burger, right smack dab in the middle, with a few extra points for being friendly with the staff. Oh, and great onion rings, too!

I ordered a 3-taco plate with Carne Asada, Lengua, and Tripas (I was feeling adventurous!) The lovely Mrs. Shoehead ordered the 3-taco as well with 2 Carne Asadas and a Tripas. both came with drinks included, and they were big 32oz sodas. The food was, as I mentioned earlier, so-so. The carne asada was not remarkable. The tacos themselves were pretty small, and the tortillas were oil friend, instead of grilled on the comal. But the overall experience was actually nice. I believe I will give them another visit. I almost had a flashback to some of my trips to Mexico while I sat there! Arriba!
