Big thumbs up for the guys at Livermore Cyclery in Dublin. Eric spent several hours working with me over several evenings to find and fit the right road bike for me. They also did a great job getting the bike set up for me and "ride ready". Highly recommended.

Jake and team did a great job on a full detail on our Explorer to get it sales ready. Highly recommended.

The Hopyward has a great selection of beers on-tap and great burgers. It does get busy on Fri. and Sat. nights; however, we've never had a problem getting a table. When the weather warms up, the front patio is a great place to get a table. Also, very kid-friendly.

Our favorite place for Pizza in Pleasanton! Whether you sit inside or outside on the deck, it always has a very "hometown" feel. Good pizza, good service, you can't go wrong.

I was in Portland on business and the bar at my hotel was closed (at 10 pm no less). The guy at the front desk pointed me to Jake's, so I stopped in for a drink. Service was friendly and the vibe was good for Tues night. I'll definitely pay Jake's a return visit on future trips to Portland.

I recently visited the Orpheum Theater for the first time to see Wicked. We had seats on the floor, right of Orchestra which allowed us a great view of the stage. The staff was friendly and was quick to show us to our seats. The Theater is old and grand with elaborate ornamentation on the walls and ceiling. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit "seedy", so we won't be walking there next time. Otherwise, this is a great venue and looking forward to seeing shows there in the future.

My wife and I had dinner to celebrate her birthday at Michael Mina. Due to Christmas shopping traffic around Union Square, we were 20 minutes late to our reservation; however, there were very gracious to seat us immediately. We had tickets to an 8 PM show at the Orpheum Theater (which is only a few blocks away) and were a bit pressed for time due to being late. That said, our server assured us that we had plenty of time of time to enjoy the 3-course tasting menu. It's an interesting menu in that you're not just choosing individual items for each course, but grouping of items, so you get to try 3-4 items per grouping. We made it thru the second course and realized that we were getting tight for time to make our 8 PM show. Both our server and the floor managers were very accommodating and offered to allow us to come back to enjoy our dessert after the show. The food was excellent and we appreciated that the wait staff went out of their way to make it an enjoyable and relaxed experience (even though it was our fault that we were late). We'll definitely return to Michael Mina!
