Chuck's Fish

Beautiful space with an open kitchen downstairs and sushi bar upstairs. Service was reasonably attentive but fairly slow on the back end of the meal. I had sushi and was pleased with what I ordered (very good  California Roll), but the overall sticking point was that it felt a little pricey for what it was. I'd eat at Chuck's again, but the price will keep me from seeking it out.

Fantastic! The food is delicious, they've a good beer list and service is great...and the kitchen is open late! The only thing keeping me from five stars was my draft beer that tasted a bit of line funk.

Consistent, delicious, reasonably priced food and the friendly staff keep Thai Thai high on the list when I'm in Binghamton, even though it's is a little out of the way. Mango sticky rice...mmmmmm.....

The food is delicious; so much so that it's addictive. I can't drive through (or even near) Harrisonburg without considering a stop at A&T, and it's hard to say no when you can get an amazing chicken sandwich, yucca & beverage for ~$8. It's also super consistent, in fact I can't recall ever eating at A&T that anything was even slightly off, and the lady who runs the place is very friendly. Give A&T a go if you haven't, you'll be asking why you didn't sooner.

Standard $10 Mexican restaurant. Nothing super exciting, but good and consistent. I usually get the Chori-Pollo because I have a chorizo problem. The taquitos and Tacos al Pastor are other favorites. Ask for the other salsa and don't bother with the fried ice cream as it's just rice crispy coated vanilla ice cream w/ way to many toppings. All in all, a solid, nearby place that keeps me from cooking for myself.

Ciro's Pizza

I'm willing to admit that I may be biased (but I'm probably not) as it's my hometown pizza joint, but even out of context this place is quality. I haven't had a pizza in North Jersey that I liked better. In the context of being located in Appalachia this place is amazing. There can be some slight variance in how well done the pies are cooked, but that goes for most anywhere. The main reason Ciro's is my fav is that the crust is kneaded to the perfect chewy texture. Cheese mixture is spot on, blend is usually great, and the staff is always friendly. They have steaks & subs which are alright, but just get a pie, ok? You can't go wrong with Ciro's.

Dave's Taverna

I've finally sworn off Dave's after giving it several second chances. The only offender being service. Checking out of the "To-Go" area with NO LINE has been a very involved/lengthy process on several occasions and getting seated/served late at night (while the kitchen is still well open) is often next to impossible. Once seated the service is usually decent if slow.

Atmosphere is what it is, which isn't bad. It's just a college spot.

Food is pretty decent but, again, frequently not worth the hassle. My favorites are the Taverna Burger and the Romano Pizza. They add Kalamata olives to their Ceasar salad, which is a win with me. Their Dolmas are tasty also.

Five stars for the beer list and knowledgeable waiter/bartender with great beer recommendations. The food is great as well. I had the fish and chips and a friend had a burger and were both quite pleased. The frites are where it's at, seriously! If you're into beer this place is a must in Philly. If you're not you'll still have a good time at Eulogy. Next time I'm in town I'll be sure to visit Eulogy again. "Drink Good Beer!", Indeed.
