I am not sure regarding his competency at resolving issues with computers but I have had a bad experience dealing with him. I called Chris for retrieving data from my hard disk which stopped working after my friend dropped it. I went to his house and he asked me to leave the hard disk with him and check back with him the next day.

I called him the next day and he said he is going to take the disk to his uncle and he would need one extra day. I waited and called him on the next day and he said its not ready yet and if I could wait yet another day. This time, I forgot about it and called him after 3 days. He still kept saying he needed more time. After a while, he stopped picking up my calls. He would pick up the call, if I dialed it from another phone but not mine. So, I started calling from a new phone every time and told him that I want to pick up my drive, even if its ready or not. Not once, he returned my call.

He said he will pick it from his uncle and he will call me in next hour which he never did. So, I went directly to his home and picked up my disk.

I know that my hard disk is pretty messed up and I did not expect to get it repaired at $40 but just wanted to try.  So, I really don't know if he is good at what he does or not but his responsiveness was pretty bad.

I never had the habit of sending flowers to anyone. So, I have no idea about the prices and the care that goes in making a gift with flowers. I stepped into this store recently to buy a flower bouquet for the first time and I did not realize that the price they quoted was so cheap until I browsed other shops in the Los angeles area and online.

In addition to the great prices, the store owner was very patient and helpful. I was only planning to get a couple of roses but the woman in the store was kind enough to gift wrap it for me, which took about 15 mins if you do it  with such care, and charged nothing extra.

I recommend this place.

I am not really that interested in food but Portos was the one restaurant that really made me say "Wow". They have the best pastries and cakes in the town and sandwiches are great too. The only downside to this place is that it is always crowded and they do not have enough seating.

8 months after buying my car, I finally IPod'ed (is that word?) my car now.  I now feel glad that my car did not have that external audio jack when I bought it. Almost all new cars (2008 model) have this jack by default now. But, I noticed that though the quality of the audio is good it is no where near the actual CD quality in them.

I tried installing FM transmitter and they all sucked. I even tried the supposedly best one's (nearly $100 bucks).

Finally, today I took my car to Al & Ed's service and I love my car now. It took the guy just 30 mins to get my car IPod integrated. The quality is awesome . Yes, it is as good as an actual CD.

The amount , including taxes is $325.

I am from India and West Virginia is my first home in USA. I am living in this country for nearly 6 years now and in this period,  I have stayed, lived in several places but WVU remains closest to my heart and certainly is the best among the places I have been to.

I did my Masters here during 2002-2004 and I loved everything that WVU had to offer. This is one of the best party schools and Friday's nights are really crazy over here. Mountain lair was the place to be on a weekend but gradually over the years the scenario has changed. They are not organizing fun events like they used to anymore. But still, it is the best university among the one's in this region.

What I liked most about the university was the location. The location is cut-off from the normal city life and the entire town is inhabited by either students or staff who work at the university.

PRT (Personal Rapid Transit) is probably the weirdest/unique ways of transportations that I had ever seen and WVU is the only university where you can find it. I loved riding in PRT's whenever I felt bored and they are free to the full time students.

You will find lot of international students (Indians, Chinese in particular) over here and most them belong to the engg department.

Griffith park has so many other attractions (pony rides, hiking trails, museum, observatory, etc) but it is also a great place spend some peaceful time close to the nature and away from the nearby city life. I work in burbank and live in glendale. On my way back to home from work, I drive on 134 E and sometimes when I am just too bored of driving on the same crowded highway, I take the forest lawn drive exit and drive all the way in the griffith park , spend a few minutes in the park and exit out on the los feliz road and go back to glendale. It is such a peaceful experience. There are several places where you can park and then just walk in the grass and spend some time.

I have never been to a planetarium in my life before Griffith. So, I cannot compare this to anything but from my experience it was simply amazing. It is definitely  a place that you should take your kids to. There is nearly a 30-40 mins show/class on the history of how we came to know about the planets/galaxies, which I liked the most. The price is very cheap (nearly $8) for what we get and there are some breathtaking views from the mountain top. Yes, you can see the Hollywood sign too.

We did not have enough time to taste the wine by the time we got here. So, I cannot comment on the price and quality of the wine.

But, the USP of this place is that they offer a free self guided tour of the winery and the wine making process. We even got to see the storage rooms and take pictures of the fermentation tanks.

The food is okay but the place is maintained very well. It is clean and calm unlike many other Indian restaurants. I don't like the fact that they serve chutneys (sauces) but not the appetizers to go with it. Also, other than Chicken tikka masala, remaining dishes are not that good.

Basmati rice is awesome and Chicken tikka masala is really good.

I am an Indian, South indian to be precise and very near to Tirupathi, the name of the city from where the people who own this place come from. Tirupathi bhimas is a very famous franchise in Southern India for their tasty tiffins (breakfast).

Most of the Americans inspite of being regulars at Indian restaurants are not familiar with Indian breakfast items. I can say without any doubt in mind that this is the closest you can get if you are looking for Indian breakfast items.

I am a regular here and though I am not very impressed with the food, I cannot think of any other place in the neighborhood which can serve Idli, dosa, sambar and thalis. Hence 4 stars.
