iReally like their milk tea here, but what iLove the most is their Belgian Liege waffles. Not too many places in the city offer this, and theirs come with all sorts of toppings including lots of things that iLike - peanut butter, bananas, maple, and of course, bacon. iAdmit it can be a little pricey, but when iCrave, iPay.

The inside of this Sheng Kee is just as Chinese as any other Sheng Kee ... except there are no Chinese labels. Kinda makes it hard for people who are used to the Chinese names for the buns. They have everything all the other Sheng Kee Bakeries have, and possibly more. You think that they'd raise the prices because it's in a "White" neighborhood, but they're actually about the same.
Anyway, you have to get their honey toast! (See pictures) It has to be special ordered at the counter and you have to eat it there while it's still hot. You won't regret!

Get their honey toast. They cut out the inside of a thick slice of toast (or should I call it a loaf of bread?) into smaller pieces, toast them all along with the inner lining of the outer bread, then stuff everything back in along with whatever you decide to put in - ice cream, fruits, syrup ... It's simple ingredients made into a work of art, and it's delicious.
And at night, the waitresses dress up as maids. It feels like Asia in here (and that's a good thing).

Everything about the ramen was great - the chewy noodles, the lean and tender chashu, the slow-cooked eggs, the nori, the veggies ... and then you get to the soup base, which just killed it. Way too salty. Sorry, that is just not cool. Is that why hipsters come here?

Their milk tea is top notch. Their boba, however, is not. In fact, it's one of the worst I've had - they were way overcooked and eventually stuck to each other to the point that I couldn't suck them out of the straw anymore. I'd go back for just the milk tea, but I don't know if I'd want to pay $4 just for that. Judging from the other reviews, I'm going to consider it as an off night.

Best cannoli and tiramisu that I've had in the city.

Best private room karaoke joint that I've been to in the Bay Area. Chinese songs are up to date. I can't comment much on the English selection yet. Very roomy and clean. Prices are average, but from now until February they are having a grand opening special where it's happy hour rates all day long. Food is good too!

Best oyster omelette (oyster pancake/owa jian) I've had in the Bay Area - the edges are crispy. Best Taiwanese hamburger (gua bao) I've had in the states. They have just about every single Taiwanese street food, and a lot of their dishes can be served in smaller portions. I'll probably find myself driving out of my way just to have dinner here often.

Wasn't too big of a fans of the wings. The flavors were great, but for something deep fried, why weren't any of the wings crispy? I did, however, LOVE the waffle! It was very crispy and light. More fried chicken and waffle joints need waffles like theirs.
