Great lunch location, very good selection for vegetarians. Great price/quality balance. Staff needs to lighten up though (minus 1 star for that).

Wow!!! This place know what service is. They very well catered vegetarian food to my wife on request, and it was very very good.
Wine is excelent as well, and I really like the "concept" they have, it's simular to tapaz but with a twist somehow. I love it.
I almost knocked off a star because of the prices ($25 for a glass of Remy XO cognac is at the ridiculous side, even in Los Gatos), but the total experience pulled it back up to 5 stars.

Hands down, best Mediterranean food in the whole of North California, PERIOD!
They have it all, there is really no competition, no one comes close to this food, service and atmosphere!
This restaurant on it's own is already a VERY good (or even sole) reason to drive up to Carmel!
Service is top notch and they go the extra mile or two without any bother.
Go there during weekdays and lunch time, go in just around noon and there will be no line/queue.
Try the chicken shoarma!!!
Prices are much more then reasonable for the quality and service receiving!

Finally found a supermarket that has Bread at normal prices and aren't sweetened. Don't know why all bread here in California/US is all sweetened with corn-syrop, it's just so gross!
The good bread without the corn-syrop seems to be too expensive all the time and gets old/hard within a day (ACME? Are you listening?).
So we happen to find "Beckmans" bread (Santa Cruz) on the farmers-market, mostly German style bread at affordable prices and non of the artificial unneeded sweatening and other nasties. We are happily suprised they carry it at this Lunardi's for decent prices!

Okay, we are Dutch, and there is one thing all Dutch miss when abroad, and that is real Dutch "Drop" (Licorice).
THEY HAVE IT HERE!!! Several different kinds, even the "Dubbel Zout" (Double Salt), and "Munt Drop" (Money Licorice, in "Euro's"!).
One star off though, it's ludicrous expensive compared with "back home".

I finally found my favorite place for cocktails, not only are they quirky, special, odd and really nice, but affordable as well. Competes with the cocktails at Travese both taste/price wise!
The food is fantastic as well, we (3) had the three-course special and everything was great, $28 dollar plus $12 for wine pairing per person/special is a steal!
Cream on the cake: the weather was really nice and we sat outside on the patio looking at old downtown and mountains of Los gatos, it was just the best.
Really attentive/chatty staff, great service!
I will be back soon, cannot wait!

Great place, had my usual today: Bento Box with Beef Teriyaki and Tempura. Nice!
Nice clean place. Staff could be less "angry", but it seems to come with sushi :-)
Great location as well, ample parking-space on the AMC lot. As it's only a 10 minute walk from work, this makes it a perfect lunch place.
Prices are pretty fair as well.

Best place to sit at the beach and drink a couple of cold ones! It's relaxed/friendly and right on the ocean/beach front.
They have a nice outside deck right at the beach which is perfect.
A bit too expensive though for what you get (minus 1 star for that), but it is good fare.
Service/staff is great and real friendly/chatty.
