I got in a car accident in front of this place once. Totaled my car. It was like, 9:30 in the morning and all the drunks hanging outside said they'd be witnesses for me.

I was found to be at fault by the insurance company.

Maybe cause I was, but still.

This place rules, not only because it looks good inside and EVERYONE is nice, but also because they do a bang up job on color and they don't cost any more money than any other place would. I was surprised to pay 150 for a bleach job, whole head of color, shampoo and flat iron. And it only took like 2 hours. Totally satisfied.

I paid ten bucks for a turkey sandwich at this fking place. See, it's like walking distance from my house and I got sick of Dan's Burger and Domino's pizza so I didn't realize what I was doing at the time. Granted, it was pretty good, the courtyard is nice (it's connected to the MoLAA), and so is the staff, but jeeeezus I will never again pay 10 dollars for something I could have man 20 of if I'd bought the ingredients at the store.

I just picked up a pair of black leather ferragamo boots at this place, in mint condition--knee high with zippers. And they have the best lamps & couch pillows ever. I get lost here for days.

This place is hidden, but if you're into shoes & little kid's clothes it's worth missing the turn 2 or 3 times to get into the parking lot.

Whoever designed this place has a lot of explaining to do. A lot. I mean, what the hell is with the skinny walk way next to the bar that leads to that tiny space in front of the stage? THE ENTIRE BACK ROOM IS EMPTY and you're spilling drinks on me because there isn't enough room to have shows here. The bouncer is also a really strange dude. But that aside, the bartenders are pretty cool--don't order a martini--and my friend's bands play there pretty often. Plus the cover is only 5 bucks and I can walk to it from my house. Not only do they have pretty decent shows, but I guess they do that Monday night football thing AND they're a family restaurant. Fun for the whole family, eh? I was gonna go with 2 stars, but I'll give it 3.

I think this is one of my favorite places to see a show in Hollywood. I've seen everything from Cradle of Filth to Band of Horses at this place--the bar is a little expensive for my pocketbook, but my pocketbook isn't very big. The smoking patio is insanely awesome (and kind of inside?)--it has this cool spanish tile look to it. I remember thinking that the ceiling was out of control. Also--and this is huge--it's fun even if you can't drink at the bar. Cross my heart.

The only thing that would ever make me hate this place is the fact that I'm totally broke. But I went here on a date once and the dude I was with was a total baller, so he had no problem with paying a 10 dollar cover to get in--and it was JUST to eat dinner, which I think is weird since the food isn't all that spectacular. Don't get the house salad. The ravioli is good. And Lemmy is probably playing video poker on the patio bar. Oh and the waitresses are really, really, surprisingly, nice.

Screw IHOP. If IHOP across the street has nobody in it at all, go here anyway. This place rules. I went here all hungover on my 21st birthday and had the best (and cheapest) breakfast ever. I don't think the hours are very convenient, although I'm not sure because I did go at like 10pm once and it was still open. But seriously this place makes me wish I went to CSULB so I could've studied for finals in it or NOT studied for finals in it. Anyway, their jukebox is pretty sweet and they also have parking. and pancakes. Parking + Pancakes = Perfect.
