Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular

Zachary's can get very busy on the weekends for dinner service. I was able to luck out by going early before the dinner rush. The front doors have a huge open area inside, I guess they know that the lines can be long.
I sat inside at a small table with my guest and was able to get our drink order very quickly. The waitress took our pizza order after bringing the drinks and told us our wait will be 35 minutes.
We ordered the 10 inch Chicken Special that's good for 2 people. The pizza came out hot and the waitress served each of us our first slice. I have to be honest, I'm a New York pizza guy, and so Chicago style will always be a second choice for me. The pizza was good, but it failed to change my mind on Chicago style pizza.
The chicken was cooked well, nice and juicy. The tomato sauce had nice chunks of tomatoes and not too saucey that would make the dough soggy. The crust was crunchy but a bit on the dry side.
Overall, pizza is good, and if there's no wait, the dining experience is quick and prompt.

I have worked in Benicia for 7 years, and one thing you do in a small town like Benicia is to sample food from all restaurants nearby.
This place, is not a place you want to sample. I made the sad choice of going here a couple of times over the years and not once did this place shine. I may be bias on quality Chinese food, but I know this place doesn't even come close to quality.
If you want Chinese food in Benicia, go to Roberts China Garden on the bottom of 5th Street.

Neighborhood: The Strip
I visited the Max Brenner in New York and enjoyed all the chocolate filled items in the sampler plate. For my visit in Vegas, I only had time to grab a slice of pizza at their counter in the Forums.
The pizza was a sure thing, I loved the dough, and the chocolate was nice and warm. The chocolate got all over my hands as I was walking through the Forums, and people not familiar with Max Brenner was giving me weird looks.
I also bought a chocolate syringe to bring back on my flight home. I was able to take it on the plane without a problem.

It's been awhile since I been here, I remember the Thursday nights when my friends and I would get together for car meets here.
The donuts and conversations were always a great combination. I loved the regular glazed and blueberry donuts, and when they first come out, it's like a heavenly cloud of puffiness you just want to sink your teeth in.
I have all night to reminisce the old days of being here, and surprisingly the inside looks exactly the same before they shut down, the only thing different is the coffee machines.
Thank you for coming back to Concord, maybe I'll be able to bring back all my friends and meet again on our thursday nights.

My sister had her wedding her in January of 2012. Also, I attended the Halloween Party 2011 which was a great event that's absent the normal nightlife issues you find in San Francisco and San Jose.
The collection of cars are awesome, great mix of different Eras of automotive history. There's two floors in the main building and extra exhibits on the left wing, including a downstairs floor.
For my sister's wedding, the event coordinator, Beverly was knowledgeable and definitely a wonderful person to work with. One drawback for the venue is that the location is very dim, and although you can add accent lighting for your event, photographs don't seem to come out all the time.
One added note, on Father's Day, it's free admission for dads.

Gott's is on the far left side of the Ferry Building, with seating both inside and outside. If you go on a good day, the line still stretches out the door into the sidewalk.
The menus are on paper stock and gets passed around in line sometimes. I made my choice with the Ahi Tuna Burger, sweet potato fries, and a Black & White milkshake. My total was $27.09 for those items which was shared between me and my girlfriend.
You will place your order and get called all the way over the other side of the bar to pick up your meal. The milkshake and food was called separately.
The Ahi Tuna was great, its almost a 1.5" thick piece of tuna that's seared on the outside and raw in the middle. The bun was a winning combo to it. The sweet potato fries were okay, great addition to the burger, but nothing that stood out for itself. The milkshake was a great finishing touch to my meal.
Overall, great lunch spot at the Ferry Building, I would be happy to come back and sample other items on their menu.

I was craving for something other than churros and turkey legs and found my way to a hot link corndog. my girlfriend didn't care too much for cormdogs at once.

There was barely a wait for me and my group as I went in late Feb and the park wasn't full at all. The line system is split into two, but the lady that was managing it wasn't going in order, which frustrated the people who were in line.
Once we got to the cashier, we ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup, along with the Practically Perfect Punch.
The tomato soup was definitely what I needed, pure deliciousness in liquid form, the grilled cheese was secondary.
My girlfriend loves Mary Poppins, so naturally this was a spot we had to go. I would try the roast beef next time, but I'm sure I'll get the tomato soup on the side.

The Aladdin Musical reminded me of The Lion King Broadway Musical I saw in New York, however the scale of the production was not as big.
Still, it was a great time watching the acting and the songs were memorable. The Genie steals the show, the acting was brilliant and the jokes were fresh during the improv scenes.
It's too mad that I was not able to watch the original flying carpet ride scene, my friends said it was a thousand times better than what the show ended up doing, which was the flying carpet on stage on a floating platform with a lot of smoke to cover the mechanics beneath it.
