YUMM!!!
Just had brunch here today and it was awesome! The watermelon sweet iced tea was as good as everyone one here says it is. So refreshing! I ordered the Gulf Shrimp and Goat Cheese Omelette and OMG, it was so good! My friend ordered the Egg and Bacon Tartine which he said was really good as well. We also ordered the Beignet Flight (plain, Ghirardelli chocolate, crawfish, and granny smith apple) which were all good but my favorite is the chocolate beignet. It was just ahh I can't think of a word that's good enough to describe it. Must try! Defintely going to come back again and again!

The Boiling Crab

Came here last night with a few friends and as expected by reading the other reviews on here, our wait was 2 hours. The whole time I was waiting I was thinking to myself, "This better be worth the wait or I will be very angry with the Yelpers who raved about this place".

Between the four of us we ordered 3 lbs of shrimp, 2 lbs of clams, 1 crab, sweet potato fries, Cajun fries, and 6 corn on the cobs all in the sha-bang sauce. I only had a few of the clams as it didn't appeal to me as much as the shrimp, plus it got cold fast and wasn't as good then. The shrimp was my favorite, I think I ate almost 1 lb by myself. The Cajun fries were good but the sweet potato fries were just average, I've had better sweet potato fries elsewhere.

Now, the service... I don't know if our waitress was inexperienced or just young because she was rude from the beginning. We had to ask twice before she brought us more napkins and she didn't even let us know our take out orders were ready so we were just waiting there to pay and she never said anything to us.

I don't think I'll be back for a while. It's not because of the mediocre service, but because after the amount of food I ate last night I think I'll be eating light for a while...if I can resist other foods.

Pizza Antica

I love this place for pizza and until last night, for pasta as well. My favorite pizza is their #6 potatoes with caramelized onions. Yum! Last night I felt like having pasta so I ordered the spaghetti with fennel sausage and I was disappointed. The sausage was too small and hard and the sauce was not as good as the last time I had it. I also tried a little of the Ballerine with spicy prawns that my dad ordered and although the pasta and sauce was good, the prawns were not spicy but instead a bit on the salty side. I'm not sure if it was just an off night for me or what since I did not find anything at the mall and my meal was just okay. I think I'll stick with pizza for a while before giving their pasta another try.

Came here the other night for dinner with a bunch of friends and I was quite surprised. I loved the decor and how loungey (is that a word?) it felt. We had multiple orders of the grilled cheese with tomato dipping sauce, a few orders of the calamari, an order of the gnocchi, a two orders of the fish tacos and tuna poke, the beef tartare, and two orders of the 4 dessert bites for $1 each! I enjoyed my food and my vodka tonic, but my creme brulee was burnt on top. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and when I heard about their Sunday brunch with unlimited mimosas, this place became one of my to go places if I ever want to get together with friends to hang out and enjoy the music and drinks along with our food. Will definitely try to check out their brunch soon!

Sapore Italiano Restaurant

 Update - 12/20/2009
I came here the earlier this week for dinner with my friends. We started with the grilled calamari appetizer which wasn't what we expected. It only had four pieces of calamari on top of a bed of lettuce. Although the dressing was good, it's not really meant to be shared which was a bit disappointing since the point of appetizers is so you can share with your friends before your main course. I ordered the Rigatoni Rustica and I loved the sauce. It was so flavorful and the Italian sausage was really good. My friend said his pasta with clams was not as flavorful and my other friend ordered a salad. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and the dipping sauce that comes with the bread was just as good as I remembered it from a year ago.
I think with any place you have to order according to your taste preferences to avoid getting something you won't enjoy as much.

Came here last year for an early Christmas dinner with some of my girlfriends and I loved how cute this place is! It was so nice and cozy inside. We couldn't get enough of the bread and their dipping sauce!. They were so good! I had the gnocchi di patate al gorgonzola. It was so rich and creamy, just how gnocchi should be. Yum! Will definitely be back.

I've been here a few times with my family and friends and even ordered take out from time to time. This place isn't bad at all, however their service is either a hit or miss when dining in depending on when you go.
I think I was compelled to just pay for my drink and leave twice because the food was taking so long. On a good note, they do have good portions and their Thai Iced Tea is good. I like their Pad Thai although I've had better. I prefer Thai Village in Union City or Osha Thai on 2nd St.

Casper's Hot Dogs

I love their chili cheese dog!! So good! I don't usually go out just for a hot dog but sometimes I crave for a Casper's hot dog. I've brought my cousin here with me a few times. He says it's too expensive for a hot dog but he never complains when I'm treating him (which was every time).

I think this place is good for a quick breakfast or lunch. Sometimes I come here for a breakfast plate with eggs, sausage and their potatoes. What I love though is their grilled cheese and tuna sandwiches. Yum! I heard the southern fried chicken is not bad either but I'm not a big fan of fried chicken so I have not tried it for myself. Oh! They also have sweet potato fries which I love!

Little Madfish

I actually do like the rolls at this place. My favorites are the Dublin roll, Madfish special, Lion King, and their half rainbow/half catepiler roll. The tempura ice cream is not that good though, the breading that they used was really weird. Their bento boxes are also good deals. The portions are nice and the place is cute. The reason this place doesn't get 4 stars is because their service is inconsistent. Sometimes the service will be great and at other times, it will be nonexistent. Also, twice I have been here where the place wasn't even full and our orders took forever. Other than that, this place is good for a quick lunch or sometimes I even order rolls to go.

I love Doug's Place for breakfast! The corned beef hash is made just how I like it, crispy on the outside. Yum! Their omelettes are huge with lots of fillings unlike some other places. My mom loves their chicken fried steak. Best place in town for breakfast.
