Best pastries in Ventura. Best they are just the right size and just the right amount of sweetness and savory. I am a big fan of the Bear Claw.
"I love sushi," has put East Ventura on Foodie the map. The Samurai Roll is outstanding when paired with the Feta Tuna. Two unique dishes that can only be found in Ventura.

This review is for the food first. The food at the Cave is top notch. I had the Cave Girl, wait stop its not what you think, yes it was a Turkey Burger. A fine burger at that requiring not condiments, the pickle, lettuce tomato and onions was all you needed.
Second the selection of wine and prices cannot be beat. Go to BevMo for the hard stuff, come here for the good stuff. For Example Justin 2009 Cab was $19.00, they also had a 2009 Optimus from L'Venture for $39.00, that's a steal.

Four is for the four couples that came together for their love of wine. Brix is a unit of measure in the wine making process, making Four Brix Winery an accurate description of the endeavor in this nondescript commercial part of Ventura a real find. Treasured by locals and a fierce fan base, Four Brix offers a strong selection of finely grown wines from grapes sourced in areas of California in the finest tradition of the European regions that inspired them.

Watching the English Premier League games here early mornings on Saturday and Sunday. If you are a Chelsea fan, stay away. Seriously dude. Serious.

This is a review for the cafeteria. It has really, really, surprisingly good food for breakfast. Reminds me of the Pantry downtown. I ordered pancakes and Hash Browns. The cafeteria also has large windows and open seating that gives you the campus office park feeling at Google. A real surpirse.
