Chuck E Cheese's

Categories: Pizza, Arcades

1.0 star rating

I know not to expect much from any Chuck E Cheese (CEC) restaurant. Like their slogan says, it's a place where a kid can be a kid. That includes the running, screaming, bad pizza and gym smell. That's all good.

As others have pointed out though, this CEC is on the small side. So the rides and games my kids, ages 3 and 1.5, could enjoy were few. They had fun, but got bored after riding the same rides a few times.

However, the reason I'm only giving this place one star is the sanitary conditions. They are terrible and gross. Based on other reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. There was trash throughout the floor. The worst was the men's restroom. There was urine all over the restroom! Puddles of urine on the floor, urine all over the toilets and urinals, and strong smell of urine in the air. Seemed like the toilets and the drain on the floor were clogged-up.

I told a teenage employee that the men's room needed to be cleaned. I saw her telling a manager-type looking woman and figured it would get cleaned up. I checked it before I left, about an hour later, just to see if it had been cleaned and it hadn't.

I guess the folks running this CEC have given up on cleanliness and sanitary conditions if their regular (?) customers keep making such a filthy mess.

The burgers and other food are okay, but its definitely the place to go for soft-serve ice cream, sundaes, banana splits, and milk shakes.

I've stopped here a couple of times because its conveniently located along southbound highway 101 with easy on/off access. However, I'm only giving it two stars because service has always been really, really slow.

Andiamo's is no longer in business. It has been replaced by El Taco de Oro Taqueria.

I've come to rely on Haystack for consistently good pizza and pasta. I've never been disappointed by the food. My only minor complaint is that at times, the table service can be a little more attentive.

Bakers Square Restaurant & Pies - CLOSED

The service and the coffee were okay, but the pancakes, eggs, and sausage served to me were the worst I've had at a restaurant. The eggs were runny. The sausages were so over baked that they looked like dark, shriveled-up vanilla pods. They  tasted bad as well. I couldn't eat them (I can't believe I even took a bite). The pancakes looked and tasted like they  had been frozen and cooked in a microwave on high heat for a long time.

I've been going to this Quizno's since it opened a few years ago. The service is consistently fast and courteous. The heated sandwiches are always good too.

I like this place. Great little casino and resort which seems to have everything - gambling (slots, card games), waterslides, movie theaters, arcades, amphitheatre for concerts, boating, hotels, and of course, a buffet style restaurant.

The Casino itself is big, but last time I stopped by it seemed to have less slot machines. There was a lot of open space between the clusters of slot machines. Either way, this is the only casino in which I alway leave with more money in my pockets than when I walked in.

Its more of a cave than a hole. It used to be a someone's home at one time, but its now a roadside attraction. There's a gift shop, a petting zoo,  and a memorial to the guy who carved out the hole. Definitely worth the stop.
