I'd been having a craving for some good wings for a while now, and I just happened to see an article on the AJC the other day about the best chicken wings in town.  I wanted to go somewhere I hadn't heard of before, and since Red's was close to my house and got mentioned by several people commenting on the AJC article, I decided to give it a try.  Man, am I glad I did.

The restaurant itself (actually, it's really just a bar that serves food) is small and nothing to speak of... but the food?  Oh man, the food.  We got 20 of the medium wings and an order of tater tots with cheese.  The wings were crispy, perfectly cooked, and flavorful without being drowned in sauce.  The tater tots were also delicious (and tasted even better dunked in the ranch sauce they served with the wings).  Our server (aka the bartender), Brittany, was very friendly and attentive.

I would recommend this place without hesitation to anyone looking for really good wings.

Decided on a whim to try this place for lunch today.  I was very happy that I did.  The chicken pesto crepe was delicious and the fresh fruit I ordered as my side was indeed fresh, consisting of a delicious selection of berries.  The owner was very friendly and came over to greet us as we were finishing up our meal.  I will definitely be back soon (may even go back tonight with friends for dinner!)

I *knew* I should have brought a cart to roll myself out to the car after eating here!  I've read the other reviews of Old South BBQ before and have been meaning to go here for quite some time, but just hadn't gotten around to it.  Today seemed like the perfect day to go, though, so off we went.  We arrived during the lunch hour so the place was full, but we didn't have to wait long at all for a table.  We were seated and shortly thereafter attended to by a very friendly waitress (free hugs!)

Now on the food... oh. my. GOD.  If you are a fan of BBQ at all, and you've not been here, you deserve to be slapped in the face immediately for being so stupid.  Seriously.  They have 4 different sauces, several types of meat, great sides (try the chili! it was mindblowingly good, as was the Brunswick stew)... even their garlic toast was super good.

I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a good meal.  Just keep in mind that you probably won't need to eat for about 3 weeks afterwards.

Aww, bummer... I was hoping to be the first to review this place, if only because it seems the other reviewers have already said everything I had to say about it!

That's okay, I'll say it all again, because it merits repeating: good location, amazingly huge inventory, great prices, very helpful and friendly staff.  The *only* complaint I have is that their parking situation could use a little help, but really... considering how great this place is otherwise, I can deal with it.

If you need any kind of firearms or accessories, this is THE place to go.  Period.

I finally got around to eating here after being told by several friends how excellent the food is.  And they were right!

This is a place where you can eat often and always be able to enjoy something new.  They do not have menus.  You simply sit down and they bring you a tray with a variety of food on it.  When you have eaten it all, they bring you more.  It's approximately $9 for all you can eat, and everything I tried was delicious.  The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Amazing party.  Deanna and the crew came through as always with lots of great food and fun things to do.  She'll definitely be missed as our Atlanta leader but I'm sure our new Yelp leader will have some great things in store as well.

Made a couple new friends and caught up with some old ones.  Always a good time!

For some reason, the remote to my car's alarm system decided to randomly die over the weekend.  First thing this morning, I called Cartunes to see if they carried the remotes because all the usual suspects for electronics (Circuit City, Best Buy, etc) either were out of stock on the remote or were WAY overpriced.  Cartunes, to my pleasant surprised, not only had the remote in stock, but it was at least $50 cheaper than any of their competition...AND they offered to reprogram it to my car for no charge.  It was no more than 10 minutes from the time I pulled into the parking lot till the time I left.  I couldn't be happier.  The next time I need any kind of mobile electronics, I will definitely be calling on these guys.

Well, I feel like one of the initiated now... today I went with a friend (also a first-timer) to have one of Miss Ann's famous burgers.  Going on the advice of some people who've already been, I made sure to be there when she opened -- and my friend and I were the first people to be in and seated!  It took about 20-30 mins for her to make our food, and it was fascinating to watch her.  It's obvious she's got her routine down, and she should after nearly 40 years of doing this!  She puts a lot of love into the food she makes.  And it's cheap too -- a drink, some fries, and the burger were less than $10!  I've paid more to eat at burger places that were far less deserving of my money than Ann's.

This isn't a place that I'd go regularly, only because it's super unhealthy... but I'm glad to have experienced it, and will definitely go back at some point -- if only to help initiate someone else into the wonder that is Ann's Snack Bar.

I'm not downtown much, but I am pretty sure this is the same B&H that manages valet spots at restaurants all over Atlanta.  I visit Hot Stix and Five Guys at Lindbergh a fair amount, so I usually will have these guys park my car.  They've always been polite and quick.

So why not a better rating, you ask?  Well, I'll tell you.  A few weeks back, I had them park my car.  A couple days later I was getting into my car and noticed something on the front seat -- it was a set of keys and a cigarette lighter, both of which were not mine.  I figured that they must have been dropped accidentally by the valet that parked my car the last time I was at Lindbergh.  So I called B&H and left a message.  I didn't get a return phone call from them for nearly a week.  When they did call, they ended up having to leave me a voicemail because I was travelling at the time.  So I called back as soon as I was able (the next day, I think).  They *still* haven't called me back yet.  It kind of makes me nervous that they have such little consideration for the security of their customers' property that they wouldn't be making this more of a priority.  Hell, even if the keys belonged to the valet guy himself, I'm sure he'd like them back...

Maybe I'll park my own car from now on...

This is one of my favorite places to go when I'm absolutely starving, because I know I will never leave hungry.  The portions are large and they always bring you plenty of fresh rolls and cornbread (sometimes I'm full before my entree even arrives... that cornbread is EVIL!)

Make sure to try the chicken fingers... the breading they use is amazingly good.  Get it as a platter and try some of their awesome sides like the homemade mac and cheese.  You definitely will leave full and happy.
