I drive at least 80 miles a day commuting. I got sick and tired of hearing Carmen bitching on the radio on "THE OTHER" channel. Poked around and found 99.7... Love how they play a good variety of music. Only downside is that I'm stuck listening to the Ladies Room in the mornings. Occasionally they have crappy topics but it sure beats hearing prank calls and beeps early in the morning!
Love the mix of music!
The love trap is my guilty pleasure... where else are you going to hear psycho girlfriends insist that their boyfriends are cheating, cougars dumping 18 year olds, its like trashy Jerry Springer on the radio!

Downside... the bread seemed a lot fresher during lunch. :(

MMMMmmmm.... I heart Neto's! We swung by here today (Friday) to take advantage of their grilled sausages. We got the linguica and the calabrese and they were oh so yummy!! Maybe because it was cloudy out, the turnout wasn't insane. Paired with a bag of jalepeno chips and a jones soda, it was a superb lunch. Best yet, my friend treated me!
You pick the sausage you want from the grill, take it into the store and pick your sandwich fixings and your chips and voila! Instant lunch!
I went to drop my laptop off after they had diagnosed a problem. They told me dropping off was really easy and fast... just walk in and drop it off. Hah. Fooled me! I was stuck there for 45 minutes waiting for a tech to process and accept my laptop.
This is so infuriating... I'm at my wit's end with Apple. The service is great when they finally get to me but they REALLY need to work on their scheduling issues.

This location makes me want to scream with frustration! I had to wait over half an hour for my latest appointment.
Seriously. Why bother make appointments then!?
I go online at home, see that there's a lovely appointment in half an hour. Booked it and packed up the lovely MBP. Drove down and found parking, walked into the store 5 minutes before my appointment. The genius bar guy told me that I was 5th in line. UM. Excuse me. Highly doubt that considering the screen behind his head said "Mac Customers" 1. Random Person 2. Vicky L. I pointed out that I'm second on the list. Not 5th!!!!!!
Turns out that they interject a bunch of iPod and iPhone people in between. I ended up having to wait... and wait.... and wait... and in the 95 degree heat that I endured that whole day, I was in a foul mood.
Then I found out that my beloved MBP gets diagnosed with a heat sensor issue and a fan doesn't turn on to dissipate the heat. Gee thanks Apple. Not only have I spent a crap load of money on your products, you don't even have the galls to schedule your appointments better and I ended up with a defective product. -

This location seriously frustrates me. My beloved MBP had a power failure (the cord got pulled out while it was still in completely depleted mode) and my Safari refused to start. Being that I was a complete loyalist, I didn't dl any non-Apple software onto it. I totally should have listened to my friends and gotten Firefox. I called this location and they told me in order to schedule an appt at the Genius Bar, I needed to do it online. Gee.... I wouldn't call if I could GET online in the first place. The gal finally got me scheduled in. In addition, my beloved iPhone Bluetooth started acting up. I made a quick appointment at work for another time slot. Annoyingly, both the person on the phone and online told me that I needed to arrive 15 minutes early for my appointment. Yes. I did what I was told and granted this appointment was like 10AM, I wasn't seen until more than half an hour past my scheduled time. VERY annoying. Swapped out the headset and then Safari started behaving again... Service was good just that their scheduling was total crap. UGH!!!!

Parking's a bitch around here.
Being sent over from the Palo Alto Shopping Center store because they couldn't fix my bluetooth was annoying. Dude! I know Steve Jobs can afford it, but you know how much gas was!? (This was a couple of months ago... when gassing up my car was 3.70 a gallon!)
Worse part of this was that this location didn't have bluetooth headsets to replace my broken one.

He's been super patient to work with, has great suggestions and works hard.
So far it has been great... he uses the same staff of workers and he's been completely on our job site at all times. The work has been great and he works hard and is good at what he does. He has a good eye for design and over seeing the entire project. The only issues we had were a few minor details that got overlooked. Overall... anyone who can save the crazy wisteria tree and build an amazing pergola and reverse birth that tree through the pergola does construction magic.

For those weak stomached and bored at work, go ahead and skip over this review for the time being cause there is information that is slightly TMI.
So the lovely Tif W introduced me to the diva cup. I keep getting frustrated with dealing with tampons as the dioxins really do worry me. No, I'm not a tree hugging hippie but I am a diva cup fan. I can definitely see how I'd be using this long term and the idea that I can boil the hell out of it really appeals to me. So far I haven't had any leaks... the inserting and removing is kinda weird but not too painful. Definitely less irritation than dealing with a tampon and the awful wet post-peeing string.
It looks menacing in the box I have to admit... but it folds down and then pops open to catch everything. Still need some time to fully get used to it but I'm a fan!!! Tampons and pads be gone!! :)

How can a BBB store do so much advertisement and not carry standard King size sheets!?! I got a snooty customer service rep who wasn't in uniform walking around with a walky and I had to ask if she worked there. When asked about King size sheets, she rolled her eyes and told me to order online. Geez... if I didn't need them in say within 2 weeks I would order them online... Totally unhelpful and definitely not "beyond bedding and bath-ing items" Well actually that's unfair to say. They have everything tv informercial item under the sun... basically they should focus on bed and bath items and not stock random things like a flea market.

Also, since it was super hot, they had a plethora of little flying gnats pestering us while we ate. :(

I have to confess. I love fried chicken. I really hope my personal trainer doesn't use yelp.... After seeing so many reviews and seeing 99 chicken on the front page of yelp, I HAD to go and check it out. So my best friend and I swung by for lunch the other day (since she's also another fried chicken addict) and got our fried chicken fix. We popped in a little after 12 and the pictures were VERY misleading... I thought it was wings and drummettes.... so we ordered a 10 piece plate and a 5 piece plate... The downside to going in at that time was the wait. The owner didn't speak much english and we had some issues communicating. In addition to that, he was cleaning and wiping down his deep fryer so it took another half an hour for the oil to warm up. We ordered 10 minutes after 12 and our chicken didn't come out until 1. When he brought out the chicken, I quickly ran up to cancel out the extra 5 piece order... since they were full on drumsticks and chicken wings! He thought I wanted to add ANOTHER 5 piece order. EEK!
All in all, the chicken was fantastic. Crisp, juicy, in its deep fried glory!
Minus one star for the long wait... and also the fact that he likes to take pictures of us to post on the wall whenever we go in. I think I'm in like 7 of those pictures already...
I finally experienced the horrendous customer service other Yelpers were complaining about. I stood in the lumbar area for a good half an hour and no one showed up to help make a few cuts for us. I had to resort to calling the store on my cell phone and requesting a manager. Turns out that his lumbar guys decided to play hooky and take an hour and a half lunch. The store manager was FURIOUS... Overall he handled it really well but... yikes! The people working here is really hit or miss...

I'm surprised by all the lack of stars and bad experiences from other yelpers here. We've been frequently this location on a near 2-3 times a weekend basis for the last month. The staff have been helpful and approachable. The first time we were in there, Raider Steve who delayed his lunch break went through the entire store grabbing stuff that we needed. It made the entire process completely painless! He even went out of his way to go out to the front of the store when we needed a ladder and he remembered that there were some on sale out there.
Overall throughout our many visits now, the staff has been really helpful and walking us over to the various rows and helping us find items and make purchasing decisions. I think with Lowe's and so many unhappy customer complaints, they're finally getting their act together. Keep the good work up!!

YIPPEEEE!!! We got our price matched/refund check. Now all I'm waiting for is for S to deposit that piece of paper so it turns into Benjamins! :D
Superbly happy with their customer service. Jessica was SOOOO understanding and dealt with the situation superbly. Sadly, I've never met her in person but every single time she had to deal with me on the phone, she was super nice... considering I can unleash a scary can of whoop ass when things don't go my way!

Omigosh! I'd totally jump with glee but I shall refrain myself...
So we had a pretty smooth purchase with the Milpitas location. Unfortunately when it came down to the actual pricematch of the same comparable item I found online, Milpitas gave me the run around. They told me the foam was different, the springs were different, the online retailer didn't ship to my area, etc. Now I'd understand that if the mattresses were COMPARABLE but in this case, it was the same EXACT MODEL NUMBER AND NAME. Yes, the online retailer didn't have an option to ship to the Bay Area, but when I called them, they said they'd happily throw it onto a truck and get it hauled up here for 200 bucks. Considering we paid 1400 for the mattress and online was showing 799, I was really looking for my price match guarantee.
I ended up calling this location to get the exact spring/foam specs since I felt that Milpitas was giving me clear enough information. It was my lucky day... since Zach H. picked up the phone. Turns out he was the district manager and got everything squared away for me. Yay!!!!
We've run into some issues getting our refund check in the mail so I've been repeatedly calling. The gal who was unlucky enough to pick up my original call has been AWESOME in responding... Jessica's been emailing/following up with corporate to find our missing check and to get our check reissued. OMG... Superb customer service!!!!
