I come from Santa Cruz and we have a lot of book stores, particularly spiritual stores. Thunderbolt is the best I've ever been in and the owner has a great grasp of the products available out there. He's super helpful and funny. They have a great stock and surprising gifts.
I never thought I'd buy groceries and produce at a gas station, but AJ's is wonderful. It was clean and well stocked. HOW CONVENIENT. THank you !
We went on a Saturday when other restaurants turned us down because it was too late for them to bother (3pm) but Cascal was happy to serve us and I am so glad I tried it. It was GREAT. I loved the unique tastes of the various foods we ordered. The bread and oil mix was deliciously exotic. I loved the decor. I loved the fact that I desired plantains and they fixed it for me. I will definitely return here.
We just had a veggie burger and hamburger. Both with fries. Good thing i had a 2 for 1 coupon because it cost $14.00. Jeesh. They weren't THAT good. I'm not going back at those prices.
Good yogurt, fresh fruit, nuts, and if you want candified toppings. Even whipped cream (though it's in a can) makes this a great little spot. They have nice comfy chairs and sofas which is important because they show SURF MOVIES and that makes it the store I want to relax in.

This is my favorite groomer i've met in 25 years. I've used this firm for 10 years and she's professional, up to date with her cuts, and she has reasonable prices. I respect how she treats my dogs. You'll be lucky if she is available for your doggy - I feel really lucky to live in her neighborhood.
My name is Piper and I'm a three year old Springer Spaniel who has never had much direction so I've always done whatever I wanted. Today I took Uncle Steve's one day dog training. Though my nickname WAS Hyper-Piper, I am so much more content now that I know what my job is, and what I'm allowed to do and not allowed to do. My mom and dad are really delighted. I can tell because I'm getting a LOT of praise and I feel sensational. I read what other people have written and it's really true - I respect my owners and feel much safer in general. Like i said, my mom is over the moon about the results so I guess I did really well.

I brought out of town friends to this place and we ended up waiting over 45 minutes for our meal. No excuses, no drinks, no waiter to ask about it! I was so embarrassed. Though our waiter Chris was very sweet, he just wasn't there.
The worst part was the next day when I returned and told the bartender what happened to us. It was not rec'd well. Oh well, the kooks ARE running the show.
Don't go.

I've never been been here before and LOVED seeing the scene of the upper east side. It was lovely service but the company i was keeping was local, therefore the wait staff lavished more than i coud have expected if i'd tried to come alone. I had fun, drinks, and the food and desert! was very good.

I love the style of this place. They offer cookies, water, tea, whatever. My stylist, Tuan, is a genius with my style and color and who is very productive (read fast). I'm happy to have him working at this site because I think it's a nice central location. When I get worked on there are often two who wash and dry my hair - so my trips are always brief.
