There are plenty of indian restaurants in Santa Clara but Ganesha is probably one of my new favorites. I'm a huge Chicken Tikka Masala fan and they do it perfect! The right amount of spices, tomato to creamy ratio and curry flavor is absolutely fantastic. I ordered their Pillau by accident with my first order but now I'm hooked. I also love their samosas and tangy tamarind sauce. Yum!

My favorites here to order include:

- Vegetable Samosa
- Onion Kulcha and Garlic Naan
- Pillau

The only tough part is their pricing and ambiance. Prices are a bit high for indian food in Santa Clara. The restaurant is also pretty "meh" for ambiance and location but the tastes and flavors keep me coming back for take out orders. I also just discovered they do delivery which is awesomeeee!

The korean fried chicken sandwiches here are sooo flavor-tastic! The blended flavors, spices, and style make this one of my favorite sandwiches to get in SF. Very creative and interesting to blend korean flavors into american dishes. I've also tried the korean cheesesteak and hot dogs. All are pretty yummy but the fried chicken sandwich is my favorite! Thai restaurants in SF seem to have their act together when it comes to getting the flavors right. I loved the food here and their shrimp pad thai was delicious. The prices are good and the presentation for delivery items is great. The crab fried rice and chicken red curry were also winners in my book. I'll need to come back here and try the restaurant out in person.

Pretty place. Decent pastries. Really good cakes! I like how the store looks from the outside at night.

Swinging by here to grab a croissant or other pastry during non peak hours is a pretty cool idea. Their queuing system could use some improvement during peak times (but maybe it was just bad because I came on opening day). The neighboring coffee shops have much better coffee but if you just want a pastry in a fun retro-looking place, Paris Baguette is not too shabby.

This place has a very cool looking atmosphere. It seems almost futuristic in a way and I really like the design choices by having herb pots and food quotes on the wall. It's a good alternative to Sprouts if you're feeling healthy. The prices are also very very good.

The problem I had was the service was kind of meh and the food just isn't outstanding. Everything I've had/tasted was just okay. I don't mind coming here for lunch if I'm feeling healthy. They do have pretty good drinks... The strawberry lemonade is my favorite.

Pro-tip: This place gets PACKED for lunch at 12pm so if you want to go here, try 11:45 or 12:45pm.

This place is meatball heaven. I love build-your-own dish places where you can just peruse through their menu, check the boxes, and out comes a completely custom dish you dreamed of. The Meatball Shop lets you do just that with meatballs. Want meatballs with beans? Check! Want meatballs with a creamy sauce and pasta? Yep! So what did I order?

I kept it simple and made myself a meatball smash (aka meatball sandwich) - classic beef meatballs with classic tomato marinara inside a toasted brioche bun. It was served with a side salad. YUM!

I need to return here during my next NYC trip and get my hands on their ice cream sandwiches...

On my first day at my new company, I learned that we had weekly team dinners where we would try a new vendor in the city. On this night, we went to Rocketfish.

WOW! Where have I been all these years? For being such a sushi lover - this place is oh-em-gee BOMB! Okay okay, I'll stop freaking out and walk you through the dishes I can remember (we ordered a lot).

1. Garlic Edamame - wowza! These are so delicious and filled with flavor - you just can't have enough! It's served in a little cup topped with crispy onion strips. Delish!
2. Dungeons and Dragons - this roll was amazing. Tempura perfection!
3. DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAY - Just do it!
4. The Rocket Fish - this is the roll they're known for. The surprising amount of crisps and flavor makes this roll another winner
5. Soft Shell Crabby - This was probably the best spider roll I've ever had
6. Green Spartan - wow wow wow! It looked so normal and basic but once it's in your mouth - the tempura crunches and perfect amounts of sauce and avocado sends this into my list of must-gets
7. Kawashima Mama - It's mini little churros with a chocolate dipping sauce... need I say more?

Those were the star dishes that I had last Monday. Go here now and fill your tummy with the above!!! You won't regret it, I promise.

Kim's on Emerson is awesome! My coworker and I came here for a 1 hour massage (only $30!) and not only was it a foot massage but it was practically a full body massage. Everyone was so friendly and the massage felt amazing! Definitely will be returning.

This place seems really sketchy from the outside but disregard that and just do it! Upon entering, the place is bright, lit, and filled with nice new furniture. It really looks more like a restaurant than a Soju bar but that's okay. They have a fish tank in the front and along the wall there's a long lounge-y bar. Then in the back there are several Karaoke rooms you can rent. The soju is CHEAP! Only $10 per order and they have pretty much all the flavors as VIP and Hue. They also have a wide variety of appetizers and korean dishes to go with your drinks. The soju is served in tea pots which seems odd at first but it's delicious. They don't give you munchies to munch on like VIP does but that's okay since the soju isn't as expensive. Yogurt flavor here was our group's favorite. The place was definitely roomy and fit our group of 9 people nicely on a Thursday night. Great experience and definitely a good alternate soju bar to go to in Santa Clara. :)

I love Nailetc!!! Best place to get my fix for China Glaze Crackles (http://www.nailetc.com...) and OPI Shatter (http://www.nailetc.com...). I'm addicted and have every color! They pretty much carry everything and they always have the latest colors. Crackle and Shatter looks so pretty and I get them fast, quick, and for the best prices. I also love their OPI Pirates of the Caribbean (http://www.nailetc.com...) collection! Mermaid Tears is soooo pretty! They also carry these cool CND effects (http://www.nailetc.com...) which take any existing nail color to the next level giving a beautiful shimmer and tint of color. Love it! This is where I go for new colors and shades.
