Discovered this little shabu-shabu by accident and what a little gem it is. This place is definitely one of the better shabu-shabus out there, and I've tried quite a few, including the one in Tokyo Village.
The important thing is they have very good beef. Ordered the large set menu which includes beef and some vegetables. The beef was tender and sliced not too thin, not too think. Just the right proportion.
I purposely drive up to Fullerton for this little treat. Definitely a must try if you are into shabu-shabu.
Service wise, the staffs are attentive and gets it to you fast. Although they are pretty quiet, almost shy.

This company is a ripoff. It is every consumers' nightmare that your repairman will screw you.
Anyhow, the Kitchenaid fridge started making loud sound, so we called Appliance Repair. Apparently they don't have their own repairmen as we found out they contract the work out to other minions... at least their website looked good.
So they sent this guy Raz over to our place. Raz seemed like a decent enough guy. He took out a mini fan from the freezer and said that was the defect causing my loud noise. He quoted me $168 for a little fan that looked liked something I could buy from radio shack for $5!! And the labor fee was another $150 to install that little fan.
We decided to pay them the $318 and get the hassle done with since they'll charge the inspection fee of almost $70 if we didn't use their service.
The problem was the noise continued. So we called Appliance Repair the next day and they promised to call back, which they never did.
In the end, we called Coastline to come in and fix the problem, an authorized Kitchenaid vendor. Coastline may be more expensive, but they fix the probelm.
Appliance Repair is a scam! (they also operate under OC-Repair or something, so beware)

This is a god-aweful place... certainly the worst Thai food I've ever tasted (mind you I love Thai food and I've eaten it all over town and in Bangkok).
Found this place while strolling around Diamond Plaza and decided to give it a try. Bad mistake.
Ordered around 5 dishes for the two of us. The pad kee mow came and we thought the dish was too salty, so we told the waiter. She was kind enough to bring it back to the kitchen to have it fixed. Most restaurants would usually start over and make you a new dish. That's what I thought.
When the dish came back, it was obvious the chef simply added sugar to hide the salty flavor. The dish tasted like salty fish dipped in sugar!! We literally were disgusted with this dish.
The other dishes were also subpar. Service was adequate and the waiter was helpful. But when the food is so bad, there is no remedy. Needless to say, I won't be wasting my time here.

This is the place I usually go to when I can't find new restaurants to try. The food is generally superb and service is excellent. Decor is nice, and not too intimidating.
Must try: sea bass, foie gras mouse, and their meat/salami platter as appetizer.
Definitely a place to impress your date!

Oh god... the food and service was horrible. A huge disappointment.
We ordered their famous baby backs, pulled pork, tri tips, and rib tips between the two of us. When the food was ready, the waiter just dropped it on the table without saying a word and ran off... we didn't even get a chance to ask for fork/knives and napkins. Took another minute to flag down the waiter for the utensils. And when she finally brought it over, again, she just dropped it off at the table and didn't say a word, and had this bitchy attitude as if we were interfering with her Sunday evening at the job.
Anyways, about the food. The ribs arrived barely warm... almost cold, as if it was sitting on the counter all night before bringing it to us. To be sure, I like my ribs nice and hot, right out of the bbq. Furthermore, the ribs does not appear to be cooked long enough, and therefore, the meat not as tender as it could be.
What worse, the ribs tasted way too sweet, as if everything was sugar coated.
Huge diappointment. I didn't think I would say this, but the ribs at Tony Roma's is definitely much better than this sorry joint. And I used to think Tony Roma's was just above mediocre.
