1. No drama at the door. Chill doormen, no line, no dress code bullshit
2. Coat check people were friendly and the one guy has the coolest stacked hair EVER
3. Nice and clean venue with an amazing decor and sound system and polite, patient staff. The music pumped loud and crisp all night long
4. Easy access to the bars and strong drinks!
5. They had several go-go dancers, a juggler, and b-boys. These last ones were the highlight of the shows!
6. As for the club goers, I guess everyone yesterday was on their best behavior because everywhere I looked around people were smiling and just having a good time. No one passed out or puked right next to me, there was no drama, everyone kept dancing the entire time which brings me to my last point...
7. There was this older gal who freaking rocked it. She danced all night and when I had to give my tired bones a rest, she kept going and going and going. Now that is just AWESOME!!!

Aux Delices Vietnamese Restaurant

Neighborhood: Russian Hill
Delicate melange of flavors and manageable level of heat. Ingredients were very fresh and tasty. I had a dish with shrimp and pork the name of which escapes me right now.
Nice ambiance, cheap prices, and groovy service. Nice!

My friend and I each got a small cup and could barely finish them. her's was almond butter and mine was lemon vanilla. Both were fantastic with a lot of flavor and just a hint of sweetness. It was just what we wanted.
They don't take credit cards, only cash. Also served is frozen yogurt, which from the likes of the board comes in a lot of flavors and toppings.

Finding park is kind of a bitch but that's not the restaurant's fault. It's freaking San Mateo.

Trapeze Arts

All this even before you bring your legs up into your chest, pass them between your arms, hook them on the trapeze, dangle upside down, and then transfer to the other guy on the trapeze.
Admittedly, I could only get over the fear of heights long enough to just gracefully hop off the platform, and dangle from the trapeze...like a scared cat. The best part was walking on the safety net (bouncy bouncy) and doing a pirouetty maneuver to get off it.
But hey, I did it over and over and each time it got a little bit better. Frankly, climbing the ladder is scarier. Every time I made it up there, I would tell myself "well you are certainly NOT going back that way so I guess you're just flying chickadee."
Well, I didn't do the transfer but I was happy as a clam nonetheless. There were 3 EXCELLENT instructors who were kind, patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and had a bunch of tips for how to make the experience better...complete with videos of each person's performance. On the other side of the place, several girls were practicing aerial silks which was beautiful to see.
Next I'm trying trampoline!
PS: Be sure to bring a friend with a camera that shoots video (stupid iPhone).
Since I didn't have any problems and it was only for a yearly checkup, the R.N. took care of me. She was friendly and patiently went over my entire medical history and the results of my tests. She also listened carefully to each question or concern I had, gave thoughtful answers (which were in tune with what I had already found in Wikipedia...see they're not that off), and explained everything in plain English which I appreciated.
My husband swears by Dr. Robinson. Apparently he's the shizzy! No really, professional, good listener, and personable.

You can take BART to the arena which is a plus. I wish I had because parking (which is mayhem by the way) is $30. After paying $50 for the ticket mind you...On top of that, they only take cash. WTF?! When we arrived to the gate a lady with a brick of bills proceeded to take my lunch money. What a racquet. Note to self: if I'm ever low in cash, go stand at the arena with a yellow raincoat and make a killing.
Anyway, after you walk 3 miles inside the arena to find your seat the next feat of the gods is to get food and drinks. There are a million food stands inside the arena but of course only 2 are open with lines that go around the entire place. Beer is $11 so you'll be well advised to bring a flask with all the alcohol you need. I can only imagine how much a tray of nachos is...that'll be $25 please...and your right eye, thank you, come again. By now, between tickets, the parking scam, and the food mafia, you have spent $100, and that's a conservative estimate.
And the last insult, is the stamp size of the jumbotron screens, which from where I was seated were also blocked by the hand rails and the light machines...geezy chrissy.
And the last last insult, we spent 15 minutes looking for our car in the South parking lot when of course it was in the East side one. The husband, who freaks out at anything, was already screaming that the car had gotten stolen...of course, I knew better because who the hell will steal a 13 year old jalopy with rusted paint when there are 7000 beamers around it. Ahhh, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

Friend was asked what the sign in the lobby was and a whole load of other horse shit which was supposedly demonstrative of being detail oriented. Forgetting for a second that this proves no such thing, instead being more representative of recall (i.e. memory) than anything else...the interviewer was rude and hell bent on debating my friend's experience.
It was more about beat up the candidate than "let's see how we can help this person and in the process get a fat commission".
What agencies and employers fail to realize is that the interview is as much of chance for the candidate to evaluate that agency/employer as it is the other way. I hope for their sake they improve on their service.

My apartment hunting experience with them was as follows. I saw an ad in Craigslist with a few nice properties in Petaluma (130 Cherry St, 712 Sixth Street). I drove all the way from Marin county since the ad said to check out the neighborhood and then call for an appointment. I did just that and called the listed agent, Georgia Marino. I'm starting to believe Georgia doesn't really exist as not once has she replied to the numerous messages my husband and I have left for her.
So I called the main office two days later. A very (VERY) confused gal first took down a message for Georgia, then asked what we wanted to know about the properties (uh, I want to see them inside), then backtracked and said if we wanted an appointment we had to speak with Georgia, and then transferred me to her voice mail. Again. Catch 22 nightmare at its best. One day later the same gal called back to say they already had 2 applications on all the properties Georgia manages. What a coincidence! But fair enough. Moving right along...
Imagine my surprise when a full 3 1/2 weeks later they keep posting the same rentals as being available in Craigslist. Admittedly, one of them says "Lease Pending." For one, why the f*&$ do you keep listing a property that has 2 applications and a lease pending? And second, what kind of a lease application is this that lasts 3 weeks? Are they waiting for blood samples and X-rays?
Everywhere I have lived before has gone like this: I see the place, I like it, I fill out an application, landlord verifies my info, a couple of days later we sign an agreement, I give landlord a check, landlord gives me the keys. Done. Do you or do you not want to rent the place?
I wonder if the property owners know that Bundesen is delaying renting their properties and therefore not generating them any income while probably charging them fees.
