I would say try their baked potato, and that's it. I wouldn't go venture off into the other meats, I didn't think it was that amazing. I've had stick to your bones ribs and corn bread, and theirs is Comme ci, comme ça.
our order- btw 3 for 30 :)
starters were
- beet salad with mandarin oranges - :) if you like beets this is amazing
- caprese flat bread - omg! it was a margarita pizza with arugula salad and shavings of parmigiano :) so tasty. I wished it had a little drizzle of balsamic but whatever, it was still tasty!!!
entrees
- hanger steak on a bed of greens that was so tasty I would have gone back for it the next day if I was craving beef
- pan seared chicken in a tomato sauce which was decent, but chicken will be chicken. For some odd reason I thought that this would be like chicken confit style but it wasn't.
dessert was the best!
- granny smith apple with cinnamon sugar ice cream- To be honest with you I could care less for dessert, but the ice cream itself was by far the best ice cream I have ever tasted in my life. bi rite what? mitchell's what? and molly moons what?
- and their lemon sage flan was so refreshing it could have been devoured in 1 minute, but it definitely was a savoring type of dish that I enjoyed :)
The service, and bill weren't shabby at all, and 3 for 30 is going on till the end of this month, so check it out!!!!
Seriously, I die. So I ran around greenlake today thinking that I was so kick ass and since I run 5 miles a day, not 5k a day but 5 miles to 6 depending on the day. I thought to myself I could easily do greenlake on a somewhat of a sunny day. I kid you not, I was deceived! Why must you do this to me Seattle!!!! Why!!!! within 10 mins of my brisk jog that I so amazingly do without so much of soft sweat, was me pouring sweat down my face with a slight bit of razor cold chaffing down my throat! WTF!! is what I thought to myself, but then realized that when I run at the gym, it is usually ventilated with nice artificial air conditioning, and the nice track at my gym has no comparison to the hard muddy ground that greenlake has to offer. I die!!! granted weather has changed abruptly on me, so I had acclimate myself to this new weather, and I am ok with that, but why so cold!!!! It's sunny out!!!
Anyhow, I swear I did a running club run once, ;) and when I mean once, I mean I attempted to run with a marathon running club which I was bribed with a hearty plate of mac and cheese as my reward, and that definitely flew out the window as soon as the 2 min mark hit. But then again the circumstances were different, I didn't exercise back then but now I run everyday, and not only regular hard on your knees run, I mean a cross fit/boot camp obstacles run. So why the long review, well it's because I am a brat and complaining that the cold greenlake run should be easy for my exercise running ass, but it wasn't. So to all you gym people like me training to run 5k's and above, be sure to get ready for the chill that's going to hit your throat! November air is different from last month's air I was running in. I can take running around in wet climate then cold air that looks warm any day!!

But this review isn't about your food, which most seattlelites would say is infallible, but this is for the ambiance that this TD restaurant bestows! It definitely is a place where I forget that it is there to enjoy a great cocktail, and since I am not a big drinker I usually like a hangar one vodka with muddled oranges and strawberries :) with a splash of perrier. --- just in case you non lush's need a safe low calorie drink ---- hahhahha and mingle with great girlfriends. Lola is a restaurant that has a sitting area that is very swanky, and if you came dressed up on a rainy day it isn't weird. I am known to wear a dress even on the coldest nights. Leggings with any cute sweater dress and hot boots can make any cold day HOT!
Going on, if you want to try out their food, try their 3 for 30, or even if you want a cocktail with a side of their homemade delicious donuts, it is a must!!! Do try it out, it is a place where you can be a little ostentatious with your clothing and your jewelry and not feel out of place in the place where others might require "organic" :)

Espresso Break Inc
Category: Coffee & Tea
seriously, I may even go as far as this may be the best coffee in seattle... eeekkkkk.... well if not that, right up there....anyways, I only get espresso, but it was divine. So I got in my car, and thought to purchase my mother a mint mocha, and it was even better than my espresso, so I had to go back for another mint mocha. I think these women probably thought I was nuts, but I love my coffee like I love my man.. I just need it or I will die hahhaha ok not so dramatic but close enough
AT 9 A.M. we had a reservation and it was PACKED! wow crazy, but worth it!!!!! So this is what we ordered... for two.. hahahha
crab cake benedict with hashbrowns - uhmmmm delicious, the only complaint was can I have more crab? but besides that little unfortunate part it was divine!
california benedict? - was avocado, bacon, and poached eggs with hollandaise and hashbrowns! pretty good but I wished that the avocado was salted
and the best part.. strawberry's and whipped cream waffles with butter and maple syrup!!! yes yes yes and yes!!!!
The ice tea could have been sweetened but the fresh squeezed orange juice was freaking amazing!!!!! add some champagne to that and it would have been a perfect 9 a.m. breakfast
and they ran out of drakes cakes! I didn't even get my Seinfeld moment :( wtf! but I am not discouraged yet, but it might take a while for me to recover from my bad pizza moment :(

Grand Fortune Seafood Restaurant
Category: Dim Sum
Their ha gaw sp? is really yummy, they have big chunks of shrimp, and their cilantro shrimp is huge! and they had lots and lots of cilantro! it was so delicious; I was in HEAVEN!!! yes heaven! the other items are good but too long to mention, but the kicker was their hot sauce! That truly makes and breaks a dim sum restaurant. I must admit that I just used my yelp app on my phone, and grand fortune was the last on the list, but damn I am happy I chose it! Thank you yelp for the guidance! you win again!

I got a pedicure by a different lady because Jessica couldn't squeeze me in because I didn't have that on my appointment time, and so the other lady did it, and she was really sweet, and professional but the french pedicure was very ammature and made me feel like my niece polished my toe nails. The prices here aren't that cheap either in comparison to the other Vietnamese nail shops, so I thought it would be an amazing polish but it wasn't. Do try Jessica because she is really good!!!
