Wonton Noodle House

hella sketch, but really good for their congee or how the vietnamese say it,"chao" I love that their chao is on the salty side, but still not as good as my mom's. But for the lazy and sick, wonton noodle house has the most legit chao out there. But I am disappointed with their chinese doughnuts because they are reheated and greasy. :( wack!!!!!! but their soup will hit the spot when you're sick, because I wouldn't eat chao for the hell of it

sau kau sp? noodle soup is delish here :) cheap and delicious

Seriously a legit lunch spot if you're in the area!! Not sure how much it was, but I remember thinking that it was pretty cheap!

you get so much food!!! I get the chow mein every time I come to chiang's and it is super delish!!! the noodles taste hand made, and the flavors are pretty good. A cross between authentic and americanized, but hey it is ok with me!!! it is consistent and tasty!

I haven't dined for dinner, but my chinese friends have mentioned that they will make you anything you want if you speak chinese!!!! They have their own menu! jelly!! so bring a chinese speaking friend, and get things on the menu that will knock your socks off. I can't wait to try this place out for dinner!! it's hard because I live on capitol hill and china town is so close :(  One day Chiangs, one day...

Probably one of the better thai restaurants in seattle.

Great customer service, Great food, and always busy! I love a busy asian restaurant because it means fresh food!!! great fresh ingredients, and the turn over is a little faster because you can see everyone salivating while waiting for their food. I wuv this place!!!! Too bad it's in west seattle :(

what to order

- crab fried rice
- phad kee mao
- shrimp spicy eggplant!! I loveeeeeeeeeee eggplant!
- kao sao sp? curry noodle dish!! SOOOO GOOD!!
- phad prik khing - whatever meat you want. I always get chicken

What I ordered and didn't like very much

- garlic chicken

it was on every table, and every time I order it, I wanted to like it, but it was hella salty, and it wasn't for me. I don't get the chicken crack dish as one of my friends called it, but it definitely was edible. but I will never order it again. But that still doesn't discourage me from coming here, and telling all my friends about this amazing thai restaurant!!!! :) I loveeeeeeeeee it here!!! crab fried rice to go please! :)

Everything is sub par here but the winner winner chicken dinner are their

*drum roll please*

Their chicken wings!!! seriously for $6.00 you get the best plate of asian chicken wings. Move over pok pok from portland and every other asian chicken wing place that tries to serve "vietnamese style" chicken wings, and just eat it here! I promise you that you won't be disappointed! Seriously!!!!!

delicious, hot, slightly spicy, garlicy, and juicy! How can you go wrong?? and with a bowl of rice on the side!!! it's just a great lunch or dinner!!!! Don't let the weird sketchy service get to you, it's all about the chicken wings :)

also, if you get something other than the chicken wings and you found it delicious, please message me, I'd love to order other items that are delicious!!!!!

I absolutely loved it here! I personally had really low expectations, but their catchy name had me sold.

Seriously : hardwok cafe! heck yes! I am corny, and I don't care.

Going on, I would come with a chinese speaking friend and ask for any insider goodies that you may need to order. As for our non chinese speaking self, it was quite hard to order, but nonetheless very tasty.

order :

- popcorn chicken : more like five spice fried chicken with yummy rice with pork ground sauce over the rice! DELISH! I would totally recommend!!!!!

- Beef noodle soup : handmade fettuccine type noodle with super fall off the bone beef (I had a taste of the soup and it was delicious)

- sticky rice : it's sweet and savory and delicious!!!!!!

- green onion pancake : is like any green onion pancake, isn't knock your socks off, but definitely the greasy fried goodness is on my fave list to eat.

- pork bun : definitely sweeter than the other pork buns I have had, so I would just pass on it.

- Taro milk tea : super delicious, I am craving for one right now!!!!!

I can't wait to go back and try their milk toast!!!!!!!! I seriously loveeee this place!!!! it totally reminds me of the chinese bars I used to go to up in vancity :) but it's so close to home :)

Manhattan Drugs

Manhattan Drugs is not a drug store like bartell drugs, or even a pharmacy that is from manhattan, but a cool new hip steak house located across the way from tavern law, and conveniently located on the same street as la spiga and plum.

This quaint new restaurant is also going to be a hot new spot for the carnivores of capitol hill.  I personally am not a steak girl, but their chicken "fried chicken" more like roasted chicken was pretty damn good. Cooked perfectly with amazing accompaniments of scalloped potatoes and brocollini :)

I would recommend their french onion soup as an appetizer, and a side of macaroni and cheese. I wish there were more, but my waistline thanks MD for not having such big portions. My bf and friend had the prime rib and they liked it a lot. Prime rib is prime rib. I don't know what it is suppose to taste like but it seemed like they totally enjoyed it.

I will come here again for some nummy chicken and mac and cheese :) As for steak, I don't know if my tummy will allow it......

Toshio's Teriyaki

Same owners as kiku's in the u district and I must admit exactly deliciously. I loveeeee their chicken teriyaki, and Chicken yakisoba here!!! Plus the customer service is awesome!!!!! Yes, it is a bit americanized and it's like they break down their chicken with something dangerously addicting; like crack.  But hey, they are always busy and their rice here is a perfect blend of mushy and fluffy :) perfect for my crave for their chicken teriyaki.

Tip : Call in your order, it's easier that way and when you get there, you get your food right away and  you can just sit there and eat if you want. But it gets too crowded to find a seat for more than two people. :( no bueno

The Woods

Neighborhood: Capitol Hill

Good music + Strong drinks + Best mixed crowd of people = best new dance spot in seattle.

If Seattle made a night that was geared towards my music taste, it would be this place. A great mixture of 80's, 90's, and so random mixtures from popular guest d.j.'s is what The woods has to offer. My favorite local dj dj's on saturday's here.... oh blueyedsoul. he's a dream boat, and is also a very amazing dj at that :)

The crowd is a mixture every saturday night, and it get's crowded around 10:30. Not shitting you, so get there early. There is a line out the door pass barca, but the line goes pretty fast. So no need to to huff and puff about how long the line is, it goes fast, and it's worth it. Plus it's pretty cheap to get in. $5.00 cover!!! seriously!!!! 5 bucks for a good night of good music and dancing!!!!! Don't be cheap seattle, it's freaking 5 bucks!

NOTED : There is one bathroom so either go downstairs to grims or go next door to barca for a quick bathroom break. Don't worry that you can't re enter. They give you a wristband to re enter so it'll be fine. But don't tell the barca boss that I said that...... keep it on the hush!!!

Anyways, check it out because it's pretty awesome, and you can totally feel like you're in a tree house night club. you'll get it when you get there! So totally go!!!! Be there or be square!

Peace easy Seattlelites

PNK Restaurant and Ultra Lounge

Neighborhood: Downtown

what the fuck is an ultra lounge! hahahhaha wack....... anyways.... I've been here more than I wish I have, and here is my review...

Going out :

This is a place where I would have liked if I were 21 again. guys with button up shirts, spikey hair, and girls in tiny dresses...... (good thing they had good music playing or I'd probably shoot myself in the face for being there)

As for my  almost 30 year old self, I do not like this place one bit. because it is

drum roll please.....

Douche ville........

that covers my night time at pnk.... as for

Dining :

A little overpriced for what it is, and their drinks are not the best. Kind of reminds me of a bad vegas bar :( sorry, had to say it. and happy hour is decently priced, but it wasn't that tasty. I rather venture to our local restaurants where their happy hour is happier ( umi sake house, the list, moe bar,  etc.... )

Rumor says that japonessa might join forces and have a bit of greatness inside here. if that is true then I would loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee come here everyday! done and done!
