My 6 & 3 year old loved the place, and so hence, did I.  A one night stay was plenty, and we were all exhausted after nearly 16 hrs straight in the water park.

We were not happy with the blatant attempts to suck money out of our wallets, through our kids.  One cannot get into the water park without going through a gauntlet of kid-centric mania.  Fortunately my kids were so focused on the water park, that they barely noticed the arcade, the snack shops, and other activities.

What will probably keep us away in the future is the wizard quest game.  The whole sorcery, wizard, magic thing conflicts with the spiritual values we are trying to instill in our kids - and are important to our family.  We definitely did not like the exposure (bombardment) to this stuff.  It was unavoidable - and so most likely, we will not return.

In addition, the noise in the water park was exhausting.  We decided we'd rather spend a week camping, or at Yellowstone Lodge next time.

PS: the wifi was unusable from our room - worked great in the lobby of the conference center.

Thoroughly disappointed.  First, the kid behind the counter was not helpful at all - seemed almost bothered that we were there.  Second, the biggest shock was there were about 10 big screen TVs around the room - which is an incredible distraction for families with young kids.  In addition, music was playing overhead and the noise from the less than full restaurant was deafening.  It was very difficult to have a nice family night out with the noise and the TVs.

In addition, the pizza was mediocre - and canned mushrooms?  Really?  Canned.  

It was the most bizarre restaurant experience we've ever had.

My only fear is that cleanliness of the place.  We've eaten in a couple of times, but the tables and condiment jars are sticky.  Plus, the video poker and other distractions make it sort of family-unfriendly.

When I do takeout, or delivery, I can put the lack of cleanliness out of my mind - it is great pizza!

I like to support local, when I can.  I've been driving by this place for a few years, but had always chosen Pizza Schmizza, or Winco around the corner.  Today was my birthday, and I was in the mood for some old school pizza - so the family took me to Brunos.

I was disappointed.  Starting with the customer service, the high price, and the PG-13 TV on in the dining room.  The pizza was alright, but not stunning.  The tables were clean, as were the utensils, but I just felt like I was a commodity - not a guest.

As my wife and I stood by the counter to order, the young man behind the counter, covered with tomato paste splatters (no apron!?}, basically ignored us.  The place wasn't busy, but even after I was ready to order, he continued to mess with some mundane task.  Finally, on his timing, he took our order - but I had to repeat it three times, even though he was right there as my wife and I made our audible decision, together.

The lady giving us our drinks didn't smile, plunked them down on the table, and made no effort to connect with us.  Same with the pizza - in fact, she seemed annoyed that we hadn't made space for her to set the pizza down.  Meanwhile, in the background, were the obnoxious noises of a business - phones, etc.  It was more like a factory atmosphere than a restaurant.

The pizza was ok.  All the veggies were chopped and the presentation looked like factory prepared food.  The tomatoes included the ugly white part of the stem that is usually cored out.  And there was no spatula to serve the pizza - and no forks provided.

As we left, I turned to my wife and said.  Like many small businesses, they keep doing things the same way they've always done it, and wonder why business isn't growing.  Some simple changes, that wouldn't really cost anything, would help Brunos step up to the next level.  We live in a depressed economy, and it's hard to compete, but Brunos has great potential.

Hopefully they'll read this and get on board!

In the meantime, I won't be going back.

I like this place.  It just feels right.  It helps that it is in the neighborhood where I grew up - but it has the right ambiance of Portland, hippy-chic, and casual fare.

This place has so much potential, but as noted, there is a great lack in customer service.  Too bad.  They used to offer wifi, but I think shut it down because of the "freeloaders."

Americana cafe. Free Wifi. Typical fare for small town cafe.  Caters to an older crowd - eg; retirees.

Good prices, good food, good service. We like it.  Free wifi

As another reviewer noted, this is a good *bux. Good staff, good management, and there aren't a lot of options nearby.
