When we came here, we had really only came to see the music.. but it ended up being a fun place to hang out too!.. We tryed the sweet potato fries.. YUM!!! and what ever it was you dip them in was awesome too.. I know its a down town place to go, so the prices could have been a bit better in my opinion for what we got.. Still we had the sliders and didnt end up leaveing hungry.. The service was great, food was great and music by Andy Ooley was great too!

All in all it was a really fun night! :)

Wow.!!. Half Price Plumbing.. These guys are GREAT!.. They got in and got the job done quickly and less expensive... They talked to us about our OTHER issues with our bathroom and gave an estimate on a couple other jobs we have to eventually do.. :)

we stop by here about ever other Friday now.. its been great each time..
the last time we ate here I had a Tri Tip sandwich that was VERY good.. :)

We stopped by here on the way through.. It was a quick place to get a good lunch.. We really got the idea that it was a local hang out and we saw many here who have eaten here before as well as new customers who were here for the first time, as we were.
It has a pretty good variety of sandwiches and hamburgers, with french fries ( try the sweet potato fries or the homemade onion rings ) They have a fixins bar so you can top your hamburger just the way you like it... there are also wraps and a good selection of drinks, coffees teas etc.. or if your looking for something to go theres a cooler full of bottled favorites. I also saw fresh donuts, root beer floats and other yummys. The staff was fast, friendly and the place was very clean. with a country decor..
If you are ever going to go past here do stop by and try it.. We are glad we did.. :)

I have been takeing my cats to Asher on Hilltop now for years.. They are very up to date and modern.. The place is clean and the staff is friendly and actually enjoy animals and act like they care.. One time I came to only find out my beloved fur baby had kidney disease and they were ok with what I needed to do and sensitive to my needs and wishes.. They were careing and compasionate when it came time to make a choice to put my cat out of his misery.. They were very understanding about my grief and even called a few days later to " see how I was coping. "
They even gave me a kitty angel pin as a gift.. Yes they are more expensive but worth it for the quality of care given.

I absolutely love it here! This town is growing to be sure.. but it still has not lost its friendly hometown atmosphere and its local charm. Most of us who live here do so because we love the area and the people. If you are just speeding through you will not get to know the Redding I do..
Its slower paced life still has the convience of larger citys. This town has grown a lot in the last 15 years I have lived here. But I still call Redding home.. I just love everything about it..

They have some tasty treats!! My favorite is the chocolate gelato.. whats cool is they are always createing new flavors and everything is made on site.. They also have mini cupcakes and some yummy cookies too.. :)
The staff is friendly and helpful..

Pentecostal Church of God

Great service, Biblical teaching, Sincere praise: We visited here one sunday on a whim, because we knew some of the members.This small church was welcoming and glad to have strangers visit. We felt perfectly at home here as visitors. The praise and worship was upbeat, encourageing and sincere. The teaching was well balanced and biblical. The Spirit of God was very present and we were ministered to in a personal way, with the gifts flowing freely here. From what I could tell this church does good in the community it serves and they have many other activities during the week. If you are looking for a church home in Shasta Lake City, this would be a good choice.. I see this church growing quickly in the next few years..

Grand Buffet

I gave grand buffet a fair shot. and tried it several times to be sure..Its in a good location.. My biggest complaint about it is the food is the same every time I go.. not one thing was different from day to day and pretty much tasteless. I had the hardest time trying to find RANCH dressing for my salad ( yeah, ya know RANCH? ) I kept getting pointed to tarter sauce.. eww.. I even tasted it to be sure.. YEP tarter sauce!
Also,why does the cook only use ONE garnish, cheese, on everything?

My biggest turn off was the staff who can not speak a word of english, let alone understand you... We asked for a diet coke and she brought us two cokes and when we asked if she was sure one was diet, she switched them on us with a nervous look.. after tasteing both I realized they were the same, just regular cokes.. ( bad, if you HAVE to have diet ).. Of course like everyone else the servers ignore you after that.. Forget trying to get even one refill...
