By far the BEST thai food in Syracuse. What's better, is that it's right on Marshall Street on the Syracuse University campus. The food is consistently authentic, and fantastic. They even know me by name and service is great--fast, friendly, warm, and welcoming. Surprisingly, the prices are low even though the food tastes like a 5-star restaurant. The best dish? Thai Red Chicken Curry--perfectly spiced and flavors blended so well it's like heaven on my palate. I don't like mushrooms, but they remember every time without my even having to ask! Best appetizer? Fried Tofu--the peanut/duck dipping sauce is out of this world. If I could only get my hands on the recipe. I do takeout a lot as well and they even remember me over the phone! Love the place! Take out is fast and ready in 10 minutes or less. Thankful everyday to have appeThaizing in the 'cuse. Yummy.
The first make your own wine facility in CNY. You book an appointment online, go to the winery for free wine tasting, choose the wine you want to make, learn how to make it yourself, and return in about a month to fill and label your bottles. You get 30 bottles per batch at about $5 a bottle. My closet is full to the ceiling with my own wine. DISCLAIMER: I run their web site, but the only wine I drink now is from Lakeland Winery and STAND BEHIND my endorsement 110%. I've made about six batches of wine now over the past year and *nothing* compares to the taste of homemade wine. First batch I made with 3 friends and we split the cost to get 10 bottles each. Gave some away for Christmas presents, which was great because I'm too busy as a grad student to go shopping over the holidays!
