After three other pet store stops I finally found a life jacket that fit my new handicapped Foster Pup at this Bee Caves PetSmart location!!!! My Foster Pup can not use his front legs at all so a life jacket with a good chin support was very important in his water therapy. And this PetSmart location saved the day before our first Water Therapy workout!!!
Scooter does not know that pink Hawaiian print life jacket is not for Boys:) -

I happened upon this PetSmart today after possibly traumatising my dog with a pair of dull nail clippers that got hung in the lock position. I threw the scary clippers in the trash and ended up here. The sales girl who helped us was awesome and very educated on their products.
The rest of the review is from my dog "I love my new Bamboo 3-in-1 pedicure set! My new clippers are super sharp and clip my nails with a smooth and fast snap and just in case my Momma clips my quick my pedicure set includes a styptic to stop the blood."
Whoever invented their Lavender Chamomile Pillow Spray deserves a raise! That spray makes me beyond Drunk Happy! So happy in fact I can not use it as a pillow spray because it makes me so excited I would never fall asleep:) However I love it as a personal spray on my clothes to calm the animals I work with and I spray the dog beds in the kennels and it seems to calm the dogs! This scent has done wonders on my escape artist foster dog so I also purchased their wall plug-in! So far so good and I come home to wonderful smelling house!
I always have their Apple scented PocketBac in my pocket to sanitize between dogs at the shelter and people always comment on the pleasant scent.
When I get home I love to unwind to their Eucalyptus Spearmint scented candle!

I love all the random things I can find here. I usually stop in for wine, international hard to find candy and snacks for parties and leave with random other items like throw pillows, toys, a kite, a shower curtain, Vegemite or a new pair of earrings.
They have some amazing deals on wine and often have in store wine tasting AND you can return a wine if you get it home and do not like it. Membership is free you just have to sign up and you get discounted prices plus 10% off if you purchase 4 or more bottles. I always find new wines here that are down right cheap - most recently I picked up an Opera Prima '10 Tempranillo for only 3.49 and a new favorite Rex Goliath Cabernet only 5.29 plus 2 old favorites Genesis and Norton Merlot.
They also have a great selection of international candies heavy on the gummies (Haribo and Kasugai) and chocolates. I LOVE their WM brand Chipotle Chili Dark Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Espresso Beans and I rarely leave without a bag of Haribo Raspberry Gummies!
The employees are always super friendly and helpful and I always leave happy.

Riviera Bistro has taken over the old Apatite location and has just as inspiring healthy gourmet AND 100% gluten free menu (it shares the space with a Yoga studio). The owners source local and organic ingredients for their French Italian inspired Gluten Free menu.
For now they are only open for dinner and since they have yet to get their liquor license you can bring your own (there is a Specs and World Market in the same shopping complex) or enjoy complimentary wine while it lasts!
We decided on Salmon Croquettes on mixed greens, Poached Shrimp with remoulade sauce and Shrimp and Scallop Risotto. The risotto was a full 5 stars! so creamy with asparagus and topped with perfectly cooked shrimp and succulent scallops!
Minus a star only because the ambiance and small portions do not warrant the prices.

Royal Fig started out in catering and now has their very own roving food truck that is always on the go popping up in different places with an ever changing menu of fresh seasonal comfort food.
For lunch you might find Lobster Bisque or Pork Belly Chili with a few unique sandwich options. I had the Lobster Bisque when they were in the GSD&M parking lot for lunch and it was an amazing rich succulent brothy 5 stars and a steal at only 4.00!
Every Saturday morning they are at the Barton Creek Farmers Market with an amazing brunch menu. Can I get an Amen for Bacon Cinnamon Rolls!!! and of course they sell out fast so I have yet to get to try it. This morning we decided on a Bacon Sandwich with fried egg and arugula and a Porchetta Sandwich with dandelion greens. The Bacon sandwich was something I could have made at home but the Porchetta was mind blowing salty porky yummyness (juicy like make the crusty bread soggy fatty). I would order the Porchetta again just to pick the porky goodness out and ditch the bread that is amazing on it's own!

2 weeks in a row I ate fried chicken on Tuesday to compare Popeye's and Church's 2 dark meat for .99 Tuesday meal deal and Popeye's won!

Hi, my name is Tara and I am addicted to B&BW yummy smelling hand soaps. Last winter at the end of the year I bought 5 more bottles of the Caramel Apple in case they discontinued this seasonal scent - glad I did because they did:( I still have 3 bottles of this heavenly scent that sends me into giddy drunkin happiness every time I wash my hands. This years seasonal favorites are Mistletoe Kiss and Ribbon Candy but they did not send me into hording mode.
I also love their Apple scented pocket hand sanitizer gel that I always have in my pocket at the animal shelter to sanitize between dogs and speaking of dogs they let my dog shop with me at this location!
My most resent discovery at this location and Christmas gift to myself is their Eucalyptus Spearmint scented candle! It makes me beyond Stress Relief Happy!
My friends and family who know I wash my face and body with Johnson's baby wash and moisturize with pure oils with no scent are often shocked that I have this strange addiction to scented hand wash and sanitizers when they visit my home:)

Holidays On Ice at The Oasis Texas

We all had so much fun ice skating here! My Sister and her kids were visiting and I had been wanting an excuse to go ice skating at the Oasis...
The Manager was AWEsome when I asked if we could come back after dinner - she said "You have not skated an hour yet" ... We had already been skating for over an hour - I must have had a confused look on my face because she then winked at me:)
So we got some more skate time in after dinner! And my Sis and I got to teach the kiddos everything we learned from lessons when we thought we wanted to go Pro:)

I do not know what I would do without 311 because I would probably end up taking home every dog I find running loose and try and find their humans on my own and anyone who knows me knows I am always already at my household limit of homeless dogs. So, I am a frequent caller to the always polite and helpful 311 staff who I often call to report dogs running loose so I do not have to call to report a dead animal carcass that needs to be removed (yet another service they provide).
Today, while driving down 360 I see a small white fluff ball running across West bound traffic and see 2 cars already pulling over and getting out I immediately jumped out and raised my hands to stop traffic as the dog was then running into traffic in the opposite direction. I caught the little devil who bit me as a "Thank You" for saving his life. I am probably the rare driver who always has a multitude of dog supplies on hand and yes a muzzle is one of them! So, once again I call 311 and they dispatched animal control and within 2 hours they came scanned the Devil Muppet Dog for microchip and transported him home. His Mom called and thanked me and confirmed his rabies vaccs...
Not loose dog related... Awhile back when my electricity was out and I reported it - 311 called me back to see if the electricity had been restored? Why Yes Thank You Very Much 311!

This crate is seriously heavy duty and probably weighs 200LBs it took me and 2 other women to get into the back of my SUV and it took me 10 minutes to drag it into my house from the drive way. It is collapsible so the corners are already reinforced but I zip-tied it in several places just to be safe. Over 2 weeks later and the Houdini has given up trying to escape!
