To Chandler's the owner's comment...
Yes you have been at that location for several years and I am 100% for sure that I have the right place. Chandler, you were the person who did my waxing. It was in 2009 and I came in later on a Thursday after a business event I'd gone to. At that time I lived in Fort Worth. You offered to personally do my brazilian wax because it was my first. You were very nice to start, and in our conversation I told you I was going out of town to go camping the very next day which is why I was getting waxed. You waxed some areas and then after a while said you wanted to stop due to "trauma" (leaving me half waxed).

You then started acting very awkward, would not look me in the face, and charged me full price for the waxing despite not providing a full service. You then mumbled something about me coming back the next day, although you already knew I could not. You did not ask me if "everything was alright?" because you already knew it wasn't. Your office also never contacted me after that. To be honest, the entire ordeal was a bit traumatic for me and I tried to block most of it out. I now live in Dallas and drove past your office, on the way to lunch, the other day and was reminded of the poor experience. That's why I am just now leaving a review.

Went here a few years back for my first Brazilian wax. The owner (who performed the waxing) was very nice, but the service was HORRIBLE! She ended the session with me half waxed, knew I couldn't come back the next day, and still charged me full price. I would never ever go here again and wouldn't suggest it to anyone I cared about.    Show owner comment »

Yum, yum, yum! We frequent this place a lot for lunch. The dough is always cooked to perfection and the ingredients always taste fresh. It can get a little pricey since they charge per each topping and there are no per-configured offerings, but you won't be disappointed!

This review is based on the attitude of the person who answered the phone when I called. I couldn't get past that to determine whether or not their actual services were worthwhile. I too purchased a Groupon (mine was for laser hair removal) and called to set an appointment time to have my first session. I informed the employee that I lived in Dallas and was interested in scheduling for a Saturday about a month away. First she made a snide comment about me living in Dallas and why was I buying services in Fort Worth. I bought the Groupon because I have a family member that I visit frequently that lives in the neighborhood of their spa. I do business in the area often despite living in Dallas and had planned on buying a massage gift certificate as well until they were rude.

Then she continued to say that each time I could come in was booked and they were all booked up. She must have said "We're all booked up!" at least 6 times during the call. At no time did she at least offer a time when I could come in. I felt treated like a second-class citizen and stereotyped as someone who wasn't worth their time. They don't seem very interested in dealing with Groupies so if their purpose of doing the deal was to get publicity I'd say that backfired.

I've been here twice now. The first time I got a burrito and it was good, but not the best Korean BBQ place I've tried before. I realized that most of my prior experiences were with fries, so I went back tonight to give those a whirl. They were ok but I just felt like something was missing or not quite right. It's like my taste buds were fighting the necessary co-mingling of flavors they were being presented with in every bite. Not bad, just not the best.

Used them for the first time last week and had a great experience! I dropped off 4 items around 1pm on Friday and they had them ready by 11am on Saturday. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and they even called me when my items were ready to be picked up. The fact that they have a flat fee of $2.75 regardless the item (with the exception of leather/suede/household items) is a big bonus because I've been lured in before by the dress shirt specials and then charged like $8 for a dress or extra if the shirt wasn't made of cotton. Don't even get me started on the amount I've paid to get my suits cleaned. For those reasons I feel like $2.75 an item is a dirt cheap steal! I like being able to know how much I'll be charged simply by the number of items I have. Will be going back and recommend others definetly check it out!

I would definitely eat here again! Had lunch there today for a co-workers birthday. Our server was Lan and the service was fantastic! He was prompt, proactive, and had great manners.

We got metro sizes in truffle and meat lovers. The truffle was good. Dough was extra thin, crispy, a little charred, and the ingredients were fresh. I didn't try the meat lovers.

The price/portion ratio puts them a little bit on the higher side when compared to other Dallas pizza places, but I think that also has to do with the sizes. The menu says a regular size pizza is round and feeds one to two people. You'd have to be really hungry to eat a whole pizza by yourself. The metro is rectangular and pricier and claims to feed 2-3 people but after ordering and looking at others around us, i don't necessarily know that I felt like we got a much much larger pizza getting the metro because the shapes are different. It would be nice if the pizzas were the same size so you could make a more fair comparison.

It's kind of small, the tables are a lil cramped, but holy smokes their roasted maitake mushroom entree is foodgasmic! My dining partner was literally jealous at the joy I expressed from eating this meal.

We came on a Friday night, were sat really quickly. Had the fingerling potatoes with pimenton aioli to start. Potatoes were good but the aioli was heavy on tabasco flavor. Still a good dish, but I'd try something else next time.

I had a vodka soda and the bartender was just the right amount of generous. Then I got my entree... thinking about it makes my mouth water. The maitake mushrooms were fresh and roasted to perfection. Each bite was flavorful, buttery, and the texture of the mushroom plus the roasting made it the best non-meat meal I think I've ever eaten!

Try that dish and you will not be disappointed. I wish I could get some flown into Dallas!

L2 Restaurant & Bar

Poor service, attitude, and food make this place a two star kinda joint in my book. Came to see a show that was going on later in the evening and decided to do dinner here too.

To start they seemed appalled that we didn't have reservations and told us we'd have to sit in the DRAFTY front room because they had nothing available in the back. Not sure why you'd make your own restaurant sound uninviting, but whatevs.

Got seated and then waited a good 30 mins before our order was taken. Some older woman (possibly owner or manager) even checked on us during this time, knew we were ready to order, and then went about her merry way without helping us. Good times!

The worst part was witnessing this same woman be a complete jerk to the ladies at the table next to us. One had been sitting at the bar for over an hour drinking (aka spending money) waiting for her friend to arrive. When she finally did, she asked the bartender if they could move to a table and he said yes. After they moved to a table the older lady first made a huge scene at the bar questioning the employees on who gave the girls approval to move and the bartender lied.

Then she went to the girls and in a huffy and rude manner asked them who said they could sit there, so much that the girls offered to leave which she said she didn't want but then spent the next 5 mins scolding/biatching to them about how that table was reserved and how she "told the bartender to never let anyone fuc*ing move from the bar to a table without her permission in advance". Yeah not exactly a pleasant addition to a meal. Oh and the party that had "reserved" the table never showed up. There were only 3 parties eating in the front room.

Food was bland, mushy, and only tasted worse after dealing with the pompous attitude of the staff.

Was in Philly and did the Love Tour.... so awesome! It was great because I got to see awesome murals done by a person who grew up in the city. The number of murals is a little overwhelming but that's a good thing.

I also saw parts of Philly that I otherwise would not have ventured into on my own.  The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because everything I read prior to going on the tour made me think I'd get to see a specific set of murals and in actuality there are many that are impossible to see from the tour route because they pass by so quickly in different directions when you're on the train.

Overall great experience and I would highly suggest it to both locals and visitors. Our tour guide was awesome and very informative as well!

I'd suggest that they make a book of the Love Tour Murals because I'd buy it.

DON'T stay here!!! They made someone else keys to my room giving them unauthorized access and that person stole all my stuff.

In town for my first ever SXSW. With a friend and we were going to stay from the 10th til the 20th. Got in late Thursday, unpacked all our stuff in the room. Went to the conference Friday and were feeling all happy, and then got back to our room and our keys didn't work. Got them reactivated at the front desk and upon entering our room found that someone had gone through the room and stole our stuff. They took pretty much everything but our clothes and toiletries.

Missing were laptops, a camcorder, phone chargers, and other electronics. However they left the hotels dvd player... how kind! They even stole my shoes, which is just nasty cause what if I had foot fungus!?! I mean I don't, but I kind of wish I did so I could get back at them with a mean case of athletes foot a month after they thought they got away with it.

Oh and apparently being a thief works up a mighty big appetite cause the jerks stole our food too, but only the good stuff. They took our Twizzlers, Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies, and chocolate. They left the fake gardetto style snack mix cause I guess it didn't meet their obviously high standards. How are you gonna steal my snacks and be persnickity?

The hotel responded by saying sorry and telling me to call the cops. While I went off to call the cops they closed shop and left only a maid on staff. They wouldn't look into the incident until Monday and waiting 48 hours wasted precious time in which we could have found the perps and gotten our stuff back.

This ruined our whole trip, has cost us a ton of money, and has completely exhausted us. Yet the hotel doesn't care to do anything other than push us off on their insurance. DON'T stay here! I can only imagine what would have happened to us if we would have actually been in the room.

Here is my video account of the experience. http://www.youtube.com...
