They were watching some obscure soccer or FOOTBALL game (as I reminded my non American friends) and the food was really good. The stand out for me for the orange juice. I could have sworn, they used like 15 oranges to make my orange juice. It was fresh, lot of pulp and with nothing added to it. Really good!! They have free chips and the meat dishes were pretty good. I am a fan.
This one is no different. It is at the basement level and feels like dungeon. There is no alcohol and the pizza was kinda gross. I would rather to one of the other dirty disgusting pool halls in the area. I actually think there is a business opportunity for someone to open a nice clean pool hall in the bay area. This place would have gotten 1 star if not for the sweet girl working at the counter.
Anyway, this place is amazing. Service was fantastic. The waitress was very sweet, attentive without being over bearing. Started off with the cream of broccoli soup was tasted fresh and tasty. The chicken pesto crepe was delicious!!! It was a pretty good size and came with mushrooms, mozzarella and spinach. To top it off, it even came up with fresh fruit on the side. I was actually sad when it was done. Then came the gargantua dessert crepe which came with nutella, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, ice cream, strawberries and banana. Yummmmy!!
To top it off, all of that came to only $19. I cannot think of anything to critique this place. Who knew such a jewel existed in Fremont. Go now and enjoy!!
I had the kofta wrap and the baba ghanoush for the appetizer which were both very tasty. The dessert took it up a notch. The halwa and the baklava were to die for. I saw the owner handing out falalel samplers to customers. I give 1 star for that but I take 1 star off because he did not give me one!! ;-)

We got a table promptly which was the most positive thing about the dinner. It took 20 minutes for a waiter to show up after we went back to the front desk and asked for a waiter. It took them another 20 mts to get our appetizer which was the wrong order. The drinks came after that and not all of them. My friend had to wait for their margarita for another 15 mts. At this point, I was ready to leave but decided to stay put against my better judgement. BTW, my drink was definitely not Johnny Walker scotch. My friend had steak and ended up with an upset tummy. This one is simple...NEVER AGAIN.
I went to Specialty's bakery with a friend for lunch. Parking was not much of a hassle and it was fairly crowded and guess what I saw when I walk in. A self service ordering station!!! They are not just in Germany. You can look at what's on the menu and place the order yourself. Swipe your card and enter the pager number you want and take your pager with you. You are done! In spite of my earlier thinking, this was actually kinda cool. The food was ready around 5 Mt's later.
The Chinese chicken salad was average. Too much lettuce and not enough dressing or chicken. I liked this place because it is fast, convenient and has self service ordering which is unique. Expect to see more restaurants taking their cue soon.
I got a Kir Royale just to try something different instead of my regular drinks in spite of getting some strange looks from my table mates. ;-) The food was average to above average. The french onion soup was overwhelmed with cheese. Some might think "what's wrong with that" but I like a little soup along with the cheese as well. The gnocchi was tasty but too rich. The skirt steak was OK, a little too chewy for me. Overall, I would consider this a safety restaurant if I can't get into some of my other favorites in the area.

Well, the wait is over and I can tell you that this place does make one of the best burritos I have ever had. They portions are ginormous. You get to pick what goes in the burrito and the end result was delish! I recommend the chicken mole.
