Awesome, awesome food. It has a different name now (Cruzan Rum bar & grill maybe?) but the menu was packed with creative mouth-watering dishes.
After a long hard stare at the menu we went with the Jim Beam burger, which was the best burger we had on the island by far (and we had many) and I got the ribs. The ribs were good, but the $20 pricetag must just be for the scarcity of pig products because it didn't really come with much. I'd get something different if we came back (and I think we will). The rest of our food (and drinks) were so good that we're thinking of staying at Secret Harbour next time we come.
Also, the view can't be beat.

HOWEVER.. I deal with a pretty severe case of chronic vertigo, which is supplemented with a delightful case of anxiety that comes with it when the vertigo gets really bad. It started after I went on a cruise and it never went away. I went from being the life of the party, to a scared little anxious girl, always worried about passing out (it happens). Doctors haven't been able to do anything about it. I've seen endless neurologists, had vestibular physical therapy and have had more MRIs and vertigo tests than I even care to count. I gave up on the whole medical thing and accepted that this condition is now a part of my life.
I give this preface to tell you that nothing freaking worked.
Then along came Sally. I'll be honest that it took about five different recommendations from personal friends raving about her and telling me to have a session done to finally do it. Her Facebook page confirmed that people really do seriously love her and the work that she does. I don't think I've seen that many glowing recommendations for a hairdresser, nevermind an "energy worker" (that's what I call her, I'm not sure what the professional term would be).
ANYWAY. The point is this. I had a session done (and have since gone back many times) and the results have been incredible. After my first session, I immediately felt better.
Remember that I went in expecting to be disappointed. I'm not one of those people who got results because I THOUGHT it was going to get me results. I expected it to do nothing, like every other treatment I've had, and I'd be on my way.
My first week was amazing. As in.. I haven't felt that good in two years. Practically no symptoms of my usual vertigo and anxiety combo. I was so freaking excited that I actually called her to tell her how awesome it worked. She followed up with me later in the week again to see how I was doing.
I'd say the effects from that one session lasted about two or three weeks (it's not supposed to last forever - after all, we pick up energy everywhere we go). Now I go back regularly.
If you're wondering what an energy session is, basically you lay on a massage-like table and she spends about an hour or so doing her magic. She could probably explain better, but it's basically removing bad energy and putting in good energy. It sounds silly, but I wouldn't have written such an epic review if it didn't work. When you're done, you'll feel like a thousand pounds are lifted off your heart, head and shoulders. This is how people described it to me before I went, so I'm just repeating it here because it's so, so, so true.
Sally is incredibly sweet and 100% genuine. I think she'd talk with you for hours about energy and the issues you're having in your life if that's what you needed. I told her that she was SO undercharging and she said that her main goal is to help people and pay her bills, not get rich.
You need to book an appointment in advance too, so I'd book early. No walk-ins.
Anyway, I'd recommend her to anyone and would even say a session with her is worth the drive. I drive a little over an hour to go see her. I'd 1000% recommend getting a session done, which is why I added her to Yelp, because I can't thank her enough for the difference she's made.
