What can I say that everyone else here hasn't?
This bakery is amazing. My family gets all of it's cakes from here: From birthdays to anniversary parties to plain ol' munchies. Peter's Bakery is always our number one choice.
Though I believe the cakes are incredible, some members of my family find them too sweet (born without a sweet tooth, i assume -- were they adopted?). We usually get a smaller carrot cake to satisfy them as well.

This is a cute little cafe off of Lawrence Expressway. I found it because I was going to the Wells Fargo nearby.
It is Indian Fast Food. And I know as impossible and improbable as that sounds (as many of us has been traumatized by this genre) it was actually quite good.
The food was delicious. The prices were affordable. The decor was very modern. It had the atmosphere of a coffee shop you can read a newspaper for hours at -- quiet but not eerie quiet.
I would recommend this for a quick bite to eat for a chill lunch.

Tasty Subs & Pizza
Categories: Sandwiches, Pizza, Food
I usually don't give out 5 star reviews but this one deserved it.
The pizza served at this restaurant was incredible. I've had both thick and thin crust. The dough is fresh and had the perfect crisp. The cheese, sauce and toppings were added perfectly. They were well balanced so no one flavor overpowered another.
A well-balanced pizza is a hard find.
I've also had their sandwiches. When I feel like eating something lighter, I'll ask for a sandwich. The fresh baked bread complements the ingredients in the sandwiches, never soggy and never stiff.
It doesn't hurt that there are flat screen tvs, pinball machines and a bar at the restaurant. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and helpful. It's a great place to relax and eat a nice filling meal.

This is my second time here. The employees are incredibly nice, efficient and helpful. The food is made quickly in front of you. Even though it is a downtown restaurant, it doesn't have the downtown over expensive feel. it's adequately priced.
It can average you about $6-7. The same price as food on campus. And they provide wi-fi. This being said, it's an easy walk from SJSU. The food here is very flavorful. The ingredients are very fresh and the chef chose a great combination of tastes.
I'm a Pescaterian and though they don't have any seafood meals, the vegetarian ones I've had are very good.
I ate the Mediterranean Quesadilla - loved the pesto sauce and you can actually taste a hint of feta cheese (i'm not a big cheese fan but it was light enough that it worked)
The second meal I had was the Margherita Grilled Flatbread - The sauce was incredible. And it had just the right amount of cheese on it to fit the flat bread taste.
i Recommend this to college students or anyone looking for a delicious light meal.

Though this place has gotten a lot of great reviews and you'll meet a lot of people from San Jose that will tell you that La Victoria is amazing. It's not. The burritos are very mediocre and not authentic at all. The burritos are neither authentic like small taquerias or unauthentic like Chipotle. It fails to satisfy.
I've also heard a lot or rave for the Orange Sauce. I actually couldn't taste the sauce unless I drenched it all over the burrito. It seems like it's just a mild mixture of mayo and something similar to miso sauce.
But if you want a cheap unauthentic burrito with mild flavors, go here. It's not bad, but it's not as good as the hype.

This place is pretty okay. The waitress/hostess was very nice and it's a simple establishment. It has a wide variety of food, that doesn't mean the food was delicious but it did provide a good sample of different foods.
Some people have mentioned that the food here tastes old but it wasn't too bad. I mean when you think of an asian food buffet, you can't expect the food to get the detailed flavors asian foods are known for.
Finding this place is a tad hard. The map says it's across from Target but if you don't make a turn towards it before you see 101, you have to drive a bit because the next place to make a U-turn isn't so close.
All in all, the food is ok. If I'm craving good asian food, I will go to a different restaurant but if I'm just very hungry, on the cheap side, I'll go here.
BTW. I use asian because they incorporate chinese, japanese, vietnamese, and other cultures that I may not recall.

Morocco's is a great place to try out.
Food is incredibly delicious. I came with a friend on a slow night. There was no one really there so we did get extra customer service. The food was well cooked. We ordered a chicken and fish tagine.
The decor was beautiful. The outside is plain but the inside is very intricate and beautiful.
My only complaint is that the service was uncomfortable. The waiter and owner would flirt too much with our table. The waiter even asked my friend for a hug. I don't know if that server still works there but I would rather find another Moroccan restaurant than feel uncomfortable visiting again.

I love GNC. Don't get me wrong. They provide a wide range of products. But this particular branch is very unprofessional.
I went there at 10 AM to pick up something before work. The hours say it opens at 10 AM on the window and on the website but the door is closed. I would've forgiven them for being 15 minutes late because of traffic or because a Wednesday could be considered a slow day. But the owner was far later than that.
He strolled in at 10:45 as me and another customer, an older man maybe 60 years old, waited outside. Unapologetic and seemingly lazy, he just went in and stood behind the counter. I was angry but what made me angrier was his careless attitude.
Do not go to this GNC.

Date

I liked the food. The quality was great and the service was kind. I was actually given a time slot of when I could be there because they had many reservations.
Tip #1: Make reservations to insure your spot.
Tip #2: Also have a feeling of what you'd like to eat before you get there. The menu is extensive. I spent more time reading about what I wanted to eat than actually eating it.
