This shop is super hard to find if you don't know where you're going. I came in here looking for the Vibram Five Fingers. The guy running the shop, which is inside the Ponce de Leon Hotel lobby (Big V above the door to your left) knows his stuff.
This is the only place in south dade to buy these shoes that I know of. You shouldn't really try ordering these over the internet without knowing your size as you're going to have a hard time sizing them right.
Building is a yellow 3-4 story building right on ponce a few blocks south of 8th street.

First off, the best time to get there is saturday mornings around 1030. You get the best selection of items, least amount of traffic on US1. If you're coming from the north, you can take Old Cutler, or US1, or Turnpike and get off right near there making it a quick drive from further north. Fastest route from Coconut Grove/Coral Gables (US1-874-Turnpike-exit on 216 st-US1-244 takes 15-20min )
Unbeatable prices on produce and fruits. Peppers are quite literally 30-40% of the cost that you'd pay at Fresh Market or whole foods. Now there you get assurances of them being organic, but its still 30-40% cheaper than publix's non-organic pricing. (think $4/lb for bell peppers at whole foods vs $2.50/lb at redlands)
The best tacos there are in the stands tucked towards the back of the flea market, they have a mini restaurant setup with long benches and the like. Try the tacos al pastor.
If you eat lots of veggies like i do, its worth the weekly or bi-weekly trip to stock up. I spend $20-25/trip each time I'm here, and its easily enough for 1 person for 2 weeks of veggies. Same amount would cost me $50-60 at fresh market in grove.
