So fun! We went on a warm day in October. They offer less things to do on weekdays, but it was still worth our 45 min drive! Fun petting zoo, lots of pumpkins, train ride for the kiddos, and hayrides on the weekends. Staff is super nice. A tiny bit disorganized when school groups, etc. are there, but overall so fun! My 2 year old LOVED it!

Anyhow, this is a beautiful, large, clean park for children of all sizes and abilities. The park was constructed in honor of a boy with spinal muscular atrophy who later passed away. The park is made so that children of all abilities can play. There's many playground-type items as well as lots of "play" houses (fire station, school, gym, etc.) and a large sand area where kids can build sandcastles or just play. We were so impressed at how clean it was (even the restrooms!) and also at its size. It was worth the 1/2 hour drive, and we'll definitely be back.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet

Fun! Kinda like a Marcs combined with a Big Lots. The place is HUGE and has aisles and aisles of books, toys, home items, tools, DVDs, carpet, all kinds of things. Prices are pretty good - definitely cheaper than a "regular" store, but of course, some of the things here are a little on the "junk" side of things. Very friendly staff.

No more going to Jiffy Lube! The people here are so much friendlier and efficient! In and out - you don't even have to get out of your car!!
Delicious! You can pretty much get anything you want here since you can alter any item on the menu just to your liking, but why would you do that when their food is fantastic already? The service is great, the ambiance is just right, and the food makes you remember why the Olive Garden and Macaroni Grill just don't make the cut. Depending on what you order, meals can get a little pricey, but I felt the food was well worth it. A lovely taste of "upscale" in a city that is quite the contrary.

Just an average Salvation Army. Nicely organized, good deals, typical used products. Never crowded. Nothing super great, but nothing to complain about either.
HUGE Goodwill - the biggest in the Akron area. That said, it's always crowded, the products are just so-so, and since it's so big, product turnover can seem slow at times. Definitely worth checking out (if nothing else, then because of its size) but not one of my favorites.
One of my favorite area Goodwills. Clean, new selection all the time, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
One of my favorite area salons. Reasonable prices, very talented stylists. Full salon service range - hair, nails, massage, treatments.... you name it. This salon has been in business, owned by Carol Martin herself, ever since I can remember. Carol is there all the time, and everything runs smoothly. High quality salon without the "stuffy" feeling. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly.
