- The Kathi roll size is bigger than last time and it fills you up very nicely, the taste was super YUM!!!
NOW why Anju's not 5 stars yet:
- Service was slow and the server was distracted with phone calls and running back and forth to the kitchen even when we were the only customers in the restaurant
- We were charged a dollar for the chutney which comes free at all Indian restaurants
- No plates were served for the appetizers until we asked for them which was strange
IN SUMMARY
This place truly has a lot of potential, the taste and freshness are exceptional. They need a little work on their customer service, decor and offering more incentives to the customers to return. Keep it up...

I would've rated this place "5 Stars" after a quick lunch today but here's why I gave them only 3. If they change, I will re-rate them.
Location and Parking - Perfect, no issues.
Decor - looks like they haven't changed much since the last owners so if the business picks up, it would be nice to see things spruced up.
Service - The owner manages things single-handedly which is good till they become profitable but it might be an issue during the busy hours.
FOOD: The taste of the food was hands down GREAT! This place cooks home-style Indian, which is a refreshing change from the butter, oil and cream laden typical restaurant food. The food is super fresh and you can taste that in every bite. The spices are fresh, balanced and used moderately so you can savor the flavor till the very end. The Kathi Roll was a WINNER, very very flavorful. Overall I was pleased with the taste, cooking style and the presentation. The dosa, chutney and sambhar were super tasty but there was no masala in it, which was a mild disappointment for me.
And now....the reason why I gave them only 3 Stars.
PORTION SIZE & PRICE: The portions are very small for the price which makes it expensive for a meal. I understand the cost pressures for a new business but if I spend that kind of money I better not walk out feeling hungry.
Bottom line: I would love to go back for the food, only if the portion sizes are bigger. Show owner comment »

This place used to be great for catering food 2 years back when the management was different. The food always got good feedback from guests in the party. But recently we ordered food a couple of times and it was a disappointment. We had a couple of issues:
1) The food was less in quantity and got finished before everyone was done. It was embarrassing to see our guests go back hungry.
2) The curries were quite salty and watery
3) The raita was so less that every guest got only a teaspoon of raita. What is the sense of adding an item to the menu if it is not enough.
4) The taste of the food was below average, the naans were burnt.
5) And it is not like they charge less money than others. In fact, their rates are quite comparable or more than other place to cater from.
I am never getting party food catered from this place again.

The only thing I could recommend is Paneer Tikka Masala. I do feel that their curries are diluted and smaller portions compared to other Indian places. Naan is way buttery but not the way a naan should be, it tasted more like parantha than a naan.
Decor is bad but service is good, attendants are polite.
I used to love Baja Fresh, but recently this location has been a constant disappointment. Last few times the burrito I ordered had stale lettuce & salsa. The salsa in salsa bar is also not so fresh and the tomatoes in pica de gallo(mild salsa) looks and tastes weird. May be because I usually go for dinners and they cut their veggies in the morning but......
The staff constantly makes mistakes with the order. Sometimes they add sour cream even with specific request not to do so, sometimes they forget to give chips, once they forgot the side order of guacamole.
All in all, I have given this Baja Fresh quite a few chances but I am not going back.
The food was average- diluted and bland. At one time while we were waiting for 30 mins for the bread to come while the en trees got cold and he had a nerve to come and tell us that we need to hurry. When we pointed out that we are waiting for the naan, he realized it was his mistake but instead of apologizing he said "whatever".
We were there for 2 hours but the worst, most humiliating and insulting 2 hours. And did I mention we were there to celebrate a friend's Birthday?

Rajdhani is known for it's Gujrati style thali which is like a buffet except that the food is served at your table. Servers run around and take care of you without even being asked, which in our case didn't quite happen. Many times we had to request the refills and also found that a few things were served more often than others. As for food, the khaman and the rose dessert were the only items I liked. The lentil soup had not lentil in it and was quite bland and so was the mix veg. These menu items were quite cheap to tell the truth. For the price, I do expect at least one paneer entree. Anyways, it was a wasted trip and not worth the $18 per person with tax and all.
