Much better then the Chinese buffets on the East Coast.  Reminded me of the old East Buffet.

Your typical buffet fair with all the staples, plus sushi, dim sum, and mongolian bbq.

Sushi didn't seem that fresh or even look that good so I stayed away.

Garlic spinach, chicken w/ jalapenos, and chili cucumbers were definite favorites.

I ate here way too many days in a row for breakfast and late night snacks.  I tried the breakfast torta, 2 different burritos, and a combo platter.  Everything was tasty, fresh, hot, and filling.  The staff was always friendly.  

A huge plus is that the soda fountain has HORCHATA!

Great small donut shop.  They have just about everything you can think of.  One morning we ordered a dozen and the woman behind the counter gave us far more than we ordered.  It was awesome because we were able to try all of the flavors.

Stayed at the place for over a week while visiting friends who lived in the area.  If it wasn't for the fact that it was three minutes from our friend's we most definitely would not have stayed here.

The staff at the front desk, the management, and cleaning people were all very nice and helpful.  One of the managers even gave us a little Spongebob back pack and sunglasses for the kids.  Very cool.

My main problem with this hotel was how thin the walls were.  It was loud considering it didn't seem to be very busy until the weekend.  The toilet always made a very loud noise whenever someone in another room flushed.  Also it seemed as if there was a gnat/fruit fly invasion in this hotel.  They were everywhere!

The pool area was very nice and clean, complete with pool towels to use.  We took advantage of swimming and eating outside on the patio one night.

There is just about any big box store you can think of located right out the door on the main road.  Very convenient.

We could not find any discounts online or over the phone.  $169-$189 is really steep for this hotel.  It is basically a motel with a kitchen in the room.  I would have love to have paid a little less.  Next trip we might try the Courtyard which is located down the street.

Great dinner and pretty reasonable for Foxwoods.  We had the BEST waiter, Grant.  He was on top of everything and gave us some great and honest recommendations.

We started our meal off with two apps, the pretzel crusted crabcakes and maple candied bacon. The size of both apps were pretty big.  The crabcakes were unlike any that I've had before.  In some ways I felt that the salty pretzles overpowered the crab but it was still pretty good.

The bacon was thick cut and had the perfect ratio of savory and sweet.  Definitely my favorite of the two.

For my meal I had the braised lamb shank over a beet risotto.  My husband the cracklin pork shank.  The lamb was tender and  fell right off the bone and the risotto was outstanding.  My husbands dish was huge!  I tried a little bit and it can only be described as peking duck but pork.  Very good!

For dessert we had to try the can o cake.  Let me say that you should not order this if you have less then 4 people because it is ridiculously huge.  It is basically a molten chocolate cake in a cake tin.  A waitress comes along with a tray filled with goodies and icecream to top off the cake.  If you can't finish the cake they will wrap up the tin and let you take it home.

A perk to dining here is being given cotton candy and chocolate truffles with the check.  Though, by this time the though of eating anything else is just ridiculous.

All in all we had a great dinner on a Saturday night thanks to such a wonderful server.  Definitely worthy of making reservations on a weekend evening.

Super yummy burgers can be found here at a decent price!  I had the southern burger with coleslaw, bbq sauce, and crunchy potato chips on top.  So delicious.  My husband went for the crazy combo of a burger with an egg, cheese, and french fries on top.  The burger was a MONSTER but he said that it was outstanding.  Check the menu daily as they have some interesting specials/burgers.  Can't wait to go back!

Not bad only because North Haven is home to mostly chain restaurants so I they need to reviewed accordingly.

Always busy during the dinner rush every single night. Weekends will always have people waiting out the door and into the parking lot.  Looks like people go here if they can't get into Olive Garden and vice versa.  That is why it known as "Lobster Garden".

Food is ok though very overpriced.  Why eat here when you can travel a few towns away and eat fish in a restaurant that is close to the ocean and not pay as much.

Service has always been pretty good and food is what you except.

Shocked that on a Sunday morning this place was dead!  Our breakfast was really good!  I enjoyed a huge plate of scrambled eggs with lox and onions.  Our server was pleasant and was always around when we needed him.  The food did not take long at all and we were in and out quickly.  Would return again for breakfast if I was staying at MGM,

Just ok.  The better choice of the Foxwoods hotels, but still it is just ok.  Our room was very small yet very clean.  Check in was long and the room was also very over priced. One major problem was the noise level at night due to the paper thin walls.  Doors being slammed at all hours and people yelling but my husband swears the casinos do it on purpose so you go downstairs and gamble.  All in all it was a fun weekend away though I would for the MGM Grand to lower their prices.

Still not a big fan of Foxwoods.  First it is completely out of the way and a pain in the butt to drive to.  Still the cheesier of the two casinos in  a weird neon purple Disney sort of way.  And of course there are absolute horrible parents who take their children and BABIES to the smoke filled casino!  Seriously what are you thinking?  Of course they are going to be having tantrums because there is nothing for them to do, it is a CASINO.  If you can afford to gamble you can definitely afford a babysitter.  Sorry, but at midnight or later seeing small children sitting outside the rainmaker statue is downright depressing.
