I recently had breakfast at Sky Blue with some of my scooter buddies from the Music City Misfits.  We arrived first thing when they opened and ended up eating at a table outside.  I ordered something called Dakini Pancakes, which was basically pancake sandwiches.  I ordered them the "healthy way" which was buckwheat pancakes, egg whites and veggie sausage.  I also got a side of potatoes.  Both dishes were delicious.  I enjoyed having my second Dakini later in the day for lunch.  My only gripe would be it took some time for our food to come out and it was a bit spendy ($22 for 1 person, including tip).  But the food was quality and the service was very friendly.  The waiter was very gracious about splitting our checks, which I know is a real pain.  Next time I will order less food to save money as there was more than enough!  Great place.  I want to check it out for lunch or dinner which I hear is also excellent.

When my office was closer to the airport I used to stop in for lunch at Phat Bites on a pretty regular basis.  I will agree that sometimes the service isn't sweating the details (about what was ordered, etc.), but they are always nice and apologetic.  I think it just gets nuts around lunch time.  Today, in fact, a lady ordered a sandwich but was prepared a chicken caesar pita wrap instead.  I could tell the guy making food was flustered so I offered to take it instead as he hadn't started making my turkey wrap yet.  He was exceedingly grateful and gave me it for half price!  This was a double benefit to me, as it was delicious and I was stuffed!  It would have been a deal even at full price.  I usually get the strawberry fields salad here with quiche which is always a good meal.  They have a lot of salad and vegetarian options here as well, a rarity in Nashville!  Aside from the food I like the cool art, photography and laid back feel of the place.  It's a good feel for a stress break lunch.  I really like Phat Bites.  If they could iron out some of the ordering miscommunication and timing it would be a perfect 5 star place for me,

September's is my favorite place to eat in the greater Nashville area!  The Polynesian strip is delicious.  The mac and cheese with jalapeno is ridiculous good.  They have this pepper jelly vinagrette dressing that I have never had anywhere else that is just delicious.  We always have great service.  And the owner's could not be nicer people.  If you are looking for a great place for dinner north of Nashville, then this is the place.  Nice outside dining areas also.  Extra bonus - it is in the new Indian Lakes mall complex where there is an all digital movie theater right across the street.  Perfect place for dinner and a movie!  LOVE THIS PLACE!

I have Jason N. to thank for introducing me to Bobbie's Dairy Dip.  I have been to this place twice and really like it.  The people who work here are very cool and friendly.  The chai shakes are ridiculous good.  The black bean burger is one of the best I have ever had.  Also a great place to go eat if you ride a scooter.  Only outdoor seating (and limited).  So prepare yourself for that if it's really hot outside.  I'm ready to go back!

I love Gabby's!  I've been meeting other scooter bro's here for lunch since a short while after they opened.  Pretty much any burger is fantastic and the sweet potato fries are my favorite in Nashville.  They also have really good dessert treats in jars on the counter.  Small.  Local.  Living The Dream.  Gabby's is really everything you look for in a burger joint.  5 stars if they were open on the weekends.  Lucky for me I work nearby!
