I would highly recommend Andrew. He quickly honed in on what we were looking for and was patient for the months we needed until the right house came around. He helped us work through multiple offers and I really feel like he worked hard to get us the best deal. He was on top of everything start to finish. I definitely recommend working with him.
I recently went back to GV; and it's bad. I don't know if it's gotten worse, or I was just confused about my love of climbing.
The holds are old and slick. The route setting is wildly inconsistent; in terms of rating and quality.
The place is worn down, smelly, and just not worth at all the prices they charge.
I still like GV a lot, but there is definitely room for improvement. The routes are changed with good frequency, but the holds should be replaced/cleaned more frequently. Grading and route setting can be hit or miss depending on who set it. I would love to see the gym open early at least one weekday.
Most of all, the gym would do well to be a bit more democratic: there are a lot of people with good insight, advice and recommendations. I would love to see managment take initiative and reach out to members for suggestions on how to improve.
I've thought in great detail if this spot deserves five stars. At the end of the day, I believe my quality of life is better for visiting this spot a few times a week, and I can't say that about many places.
I really enjoy coming here. They have a lot of top rope and lead climbing routes. The amount of bouldering problems could grow, and it looks like they've been adding more over the last few months. The skill level here is high, a beginner will run out of routes and problems to practices quickly. Still, new problems and routes are set regularly.
The staff and other visitors are generally really friendly and helpful. I've learned so much about technique and climbing from other people at go vertical.
The membership is expensive when compared to a "normal" gym, but if you visit regularly, I think it is worthwhile. And the place already gets crowded during peak times, and lower membership would just exacerbate that.
Locker rooms and bathrooms could use a lot of sprucing up. Overall, I'm still a fan.
I've used Bill several times, and his quality has slipped greatly over the past 12 months. He is very slow to respond and has missed several appointments we've had. Currently, he's left my job half done and it's been about 4 weeks since I last heard from him. Multiple calls and emails have not been returned.
The worst part is I (foolishly) paid him already. He's a nice guy, but I can't recommend him for any projects.
Bill, please contact me.

Hi Walter thanks for that positive feedback and appreciate you coming back to Greencut for the Irrigation start up.Thanks again and take care.
Billy was able to fit me in right before a storm to have my sprinklers blown out, and on a weekend no less. He did a good job and is a friendly guy, he walked me through the whole process. His prices are better than anyone else doing this service around too, I'll definitely use him in the future.
The Hornet consistently serves up a good brunch. The prices are fantastic ($11-13), especially considering the portions are Texas-sized. I've eaten here 6+ times and have never been disappointed. The bloody mary bar for $2 make your own can't be beaten. Service is good and quick.
During football season, sundays are way crowded, so you might have a wait, but it will be nothing compared to DBC or other 60+ min brunch wait spots.
Saul did a free diagnostic for me, and then advised me that it wasn't worth putting any more money into the car. He could have repaired everthing and charged me for it, but I appreciate his honest and frank approach to repairs. He has won my trust and I recommend him for any issue that you might have with your car.
